Hah, hah Marko, that's a different phantom (with the blue spandex)! Deep Silent Complete... what a way to start a concert! Imagine people that came in without hearing Tarja before: must have been in a shock. The Phantom of the Opera is not as theatrical as in Helsinki 2005 and hate to say but Marko seems a bit lazy in this performance. Tarja's from crouching to standing up change is not good for the end vocals - surprised she did that, she knows better, but she seems to have too much energy and feeling going on to just stand straight. But it's a good performance still, I'm sure it was wonderful. Good thing this was TV-recorded and a wonderful upload! Thanks a lot!
*sigh* The one thing about Tarja is that I just don't think she's ever had a Metal Heart. She sings symphonic metal wonderfully but I never got the impression her heart was really in the music, that she was more inclined towards more adult Contemporary genres as opposed to Metal. It's really sad though because Opera really does compliment Metal since Classical music is the inspiration for Metal, especially Metal Lead Guitarists who would mimic the intricate cords of Bach and Beethoven in their solos.
What the hell is adult contemporary genres? Overall I agree. She isn't into metal at all, that's why she doesn't even try to sing good at her solo rock concerts now but at her classical/Christmas concerts we can hear Tarja we know and love for years. That's pretty sad😦

Casi en todos los conciertos se ven así de separados (todos, no de Tarja) por alguna extraña razón..
