The most epic mistake is Marko saying "F*ck me" and this show was recording for DVD, they did'n cut or edit this part... It's hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 and poor Floor almost falling and keep singing... Goddes!!
I remember back in the day, Anette had a streak of forgetting the lyrics to Last Ride of the Day and improvised funny words. Also remember a video where Marco stops singing during The Islander and Anette finishes the verse for him. Pretty cute moments from that era.
I did the opening of one of their shows with my band (Anette was the vocalist at the time) you have no idea how many vodka bottles they drink before the show to start lol. It's insane how they are still able to play after that. 🤣😂🤣
Just proof they are actually performing live and not recorded. Even Toumas has said in interviews that he would rather have fun and make mistakes, then have everything perfect.
Overall,...at this level of singing and performing,...these are still humans and no machines. They always bring the best on the table with true honest passion for what they stand for. Everything else is just "looking for failure"...
The words to the songs are deep and just reading them are hard. I can believe remember every word would be difficult at time. Guitar error, arthritis obviously, drums he is a damn machine. Floor, watch those heels girl. Lol
Floor has had several run ins with her balance :P She's fallen before but there are several clips of her just barely catching herself. Check out the live Shoemaker from Club Teatria, Oulu, she almost wipes out right at the end.
Shoemaker is becoming sort of a meme song. Floortje messes it up quite frequently. Which I don't mind at all, she's so adorable in these moments. Watching it now feels surreal. The recent news really whacked me out of balance. She doesn't deserve shit like this to happen to her. I wish her a full and speedy recovery.
Watching mistakes, even very, very small mistakes, makes your realise exactly how good these musicans are... highlighting these reminds me of the first time I listened to Pink Floyd's "Live in Pompeii" specifically.. the track "One of these days".... seems flawless. Then watch the video... mid-drum solo watch as the drummer (Nick Mason) loses a drumstick...
I remember there was a notorious mistake that Anette made when singing the song "Whoever Brings The Night" at the Gampel Festival in 2008. She entered the last chorus at the wrong time and that caused the entire band to get lost in tempo, causing a lack of coordination between the musicians and the music track containing the orchestral parts. It was very uncomfortable to hear that. I think it is the biggest mistake that I have heard of this band.
Yes, they are indeed human. But AWESOME humans nonetheless!! When I went to see them in New York City in May, I was expecting the perfect flawless performance. I didn't get that. Floor mixed up words on Elan and Emppu spoiled a solo. Still, I had fun and will officially keep that evening as one of, if not the most memorable in my last 25 years. I don't believe I've listened to a band this much in my life, and I've only known Nightwish almost 3 years. Coincidentally, the band that was replaced by Nightwish as my all time favorite, "Def Leppard", also made a mistake on a small show for a more close and intimate setting, the show was called VH1 Storytellers and singer Joe Elliott mixed up the first line of lyrics on the song Rock Of Ages. He obviously didn't play it off by holding back laughter as he covered his mouth. He also stated that in over 25 years of singing that song he's never forgotten a lyric especially in a large venue (stadium/arena) but messes up in front of a very close and small crowd. It was quite a funny moment when all was said and done. Joe isn't one to take something like that too serious given that he's quite the comedian. Although the band wanted to be professional and just keep the song going without skipping a beat, Joe deemed it necessary to start over. 😊❤️🤘🤘
Missing is Floor's muff of "the wAaAkeful day" during "Ghost Love Score" at Buenos Aires 2012. Took her a cringeful moment to find that note. (Of course she went on to slay the rest of it - it's right up there with the Wacken performance IMO.) And there's Floor going on stage at Wacken with her costume _not quite_ zipped up. Apparently the zipper stuck, her cue was coming up, so - Floor being Floor - she just said 'screw it' and went on with the show.

Went to a concert in september and Floor forgot the lyrics to Shoemaker. She asked the audience to sing along, and safe to say we didn't know the lyrics either 🤣
I think we can cut Floor some slack for messing up the words of "Planet Hell" as she had only been with the band 12 days at that point and 14 days before this concert, she didn't even know she was going to be singing with Nightwish. However, far more recently, she totally mucked up the lyrics to "Planet Hell" by mixing up the lines. Now that was a funny moment as she stepped back from the mic, yelled a loud "F*CK" then stepped back to the mic with a big smirk. Troy and Emppu seem to have a thing with taking turns mucking up in "Alpenglow". Tuomas has this weird moment on the keys toward the end of GSOE that sounds different at the various concerts. That has me wondering which version is the correct one.
You're right with Floor, no doubt, she even did it right the shows before. But it's still a small mistake she made :) Also, Tuomas varies in some songs, e.g. Harvest, that "mistake" he made here with the keyboard playing in the end, he never made before and after

Hm yes. For me it was entertainment and a tribute to Nightwish, showing that they are human. Afterall, they did almost 1000 live shows and these are absolute rarities. But since some of the people watching mistake this as critisism to Nightwish, I am thinking about deleting the video.
The biggest mistake I've heard is Tarja. Ghost Love Score, yellow dress, yellow microphone. When she's supposed to say "Redeem me," she just starts singing a bunch of nonsense....and it's not on tune. Terrible.
Tuomas sometimes varies a few songs on purpose to bring in variety, he has done that before as well. So it doesn't even have to be a mistake if he plays something different than the notes actually say.
@@juyifan7933 Yes, sure, maybe I should have been clearer. I only meant that he sometimes does that, but in the situation that was shown in the video, it was already a mistake. But as you say, that's normal and only human. I was just referring to other situations where at first glance you might think it was a mistake, but then it's just a spontaneous variation.
2 Clips in and this is terrible in research and effort. Critiquing Floor in 2012 for lyrical accuracy is ridiculous and can't be taken seriously. A missed key is a mistake but done at a time in the song that doesn't matter it is good error placement.
Nah, it's not a criticism. I didn't want to blame her as well. Please watch the whole video, then you will know this. It's entertainment and this clip should remind long-term, as well as newer NW fans of the good time they had back then and now. Mistakes happen and I wanted to share some - that's all.

These peoplw pointing out and worrying about mistakes are the ones that didnt make the music industries and are jealous.
Hm yes. For me it was entertainment and a tribute to Nightwish, showing that they are human. Afterall, they did almost 1000 live shows and these are absolute rarities. But since some of the people watching mistake this as critisism to Nightwish, I am thinking about deleting the video.
@@generationnightwish9015 but Nightwish was still better with Tarja.
The biggest mistake I've heard is Tarja. Ghost Love Score, yellow dress, yellow microphone. When she's supposed to say "Redeem me," she just starts singing a bunch of nonsense....and it's not on tune. Terrible.
Marko: 🧍
Marko: 🧍fuck me
Kai makes a few mistakes in the Hellfest show 2022. he misses the snaredrum a couple of times. Hahahahaha
Yep, was gonna say that myself - guess he's human after all!
There was a really good one with Jukka in a performance of Planet Hell where he throws a stick during a drum fill, but the recovery is seamless
Не ошибается только тот, кто не работает (Only those who do not work do not make mistakes)!!!
So you mean to tell me that documentary was a lie??? Floor did not learn the setlist in 48hours? 😂
hahah, they propably had to do it :D
Tuomas sometimes varies a few songs on purpose to bring in variety, he has done that before as well. So it doesn't even have to be a mistake if he plays something different than the notes actually say.
Those were obvious mistakes, he missed and fumbled notes. Everybody makes mistakes, it's normal.
That only shows how they actually perform live amazingly
Its fun to see musicians play it wrong occasionally
it's pure entertainment for me. I have watched hundreds of hours of Nightwish UA-cam videos and it's always great and interesting for me
fort lauderdale 2012 - remember she only had days to try to memorise the entire setlist - pobodys nerfect
Thank you very much for mentioning this 🙏
Many people don't know it.
Let's be honest: Most of us can't even do those mistakes... :D
Well... besides the "improvisation" of Marko ;P
Actually, I've seen Kai make a mistake. Did the old "bounce the stick off the drum skin" move and missed catching it on the way down. \m/
Where is the clip when Tuomas made mistake in this tourn and you can see him cursing in Finnish 😂 You can clearly read on his lips "V****" 😅
God, even when they fuck up, they still sound great.
Screw it. Mistakes happen show must go on
We are all only Humans... 🤷✌🏻
Mistakes show it's not playback.. like "modern" music so much is...
3:12 that was close lol
there was a concert where she actually fell on her @$$ while dancing around though
Haha floor...fo-orr you!!! Sweetie be careful
