Good video Joe! The weather here in the east still has been hit and miss. So the new 32 hasn’t gotten out that much! Looking forward to warmer temperatures.
Thanks, I appreciate it! I am amazed that I have managed to fly eight hours this month! A lot of it has been local, but I managed to squeeze in a couple besides this flight.
Joe, great video and plane. Awaiting your video on the final config of the aircraft and add-ons/options. The panel is great by the way with the Dynon. Also, could you address how you got the plane, who assembled it, experimental(?) 51%, order process, etc., and whatever other advice you would have on the Red Rocket's purchase or flight characteristics. All the best. Beautiful plane. p.s. you're one subscriber closer to 500 😀
Thanks. I am working on that one. I bought the plane from the US distributor for Aeroprakt: Heavenbound Aviation, in Johnstown, OH. It is not experimental, it's S-LSA, though it could be registered as E-LSA. It is assembled and tested in the Ukraine to US light sport standards. The wings, prop, elevator and some other major components are taken off, put in a shipping container and shipped to OH. There Heavenbound puts in back together, finalizes a few minor things and tests it again. The process for me was almost 7 months. You should contact Heavenbound for more information. heavenboundaviation.com/ Thanks for subscribing!
Hi Joe Going to see Andy from Heavenbound up at sun n fun in April. Do you have any time in a 32? Wondering if 22 owners like yourself would go for the increased speed of a 32 if you ordered again. Decisions decisions. Thanks KAPF
HI, I'll be there for a day as well. I have not flown in the 32, though I will be helping a friend ferry his 32 in late May from Ohio to Georgia. So, I'll get some stick time then. But, I really was tempted to pay the extra 30k for the extra 30 mph, which is really what the main advantage is. It also doesn't require as much trim when you change flap settings as the 22. But, I chose almost all the options and I had to stop (financially) somewhere. I will say this: the fit and finish of these planes are marvelous. I live near Andy's business and examined a good half dozen planes that went through there in the 2nd half of 2023, and was very impress. Thanks for watching and good luck with the decision!
I rented the aircraft for almost 25 hours before I bought it and now have almost 25 hours in it. I've flown the Flight Design CTLS and Tecnam P-93 and, for a fun, affordable to operate and repair, medium cross country capability, it's a great plane. My biggest issue was it's tendency to pitch down slightly when the flaps are selected, but it's minor and I got used to it after a couple of flights. Can't beat the view, it's warm in the winter and you can take the doors off for summer flying. If you're looking for a brand new light sport with a LOT of available options (see my latest video), look no further. If you want to spend another $30,000 and go 30 MPH faster, you can get the A-32. Great company, great distributor! HTH!
Well, the fuel is more. I typically pay $4-4.20 a gallon for 94 octane mogas, where 100LL is around $6 in Central Ohio. Plus, the $100 hamburger is a phrase that's been around since the 60's and is wildly inaccurate today! 😆
Thanks for taking us along guys. Blue Skies!
Glad you enjoyed it! They'll be more!

Great video Joe! I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation yesterday at the MAC meeting. I'll be looking fo you in the skies. Fly safe!
Thanks, Randy, it was fun. Looks like a great group!
Thanks for a nice adventure with my morning coffee. kAPF
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching! More to come...

Joe I have been thinking about getting an A22 can I get your honest review of that aircraft. Thank you for the video.

What's the price of the Burger with a Cessna? So it's quite cheap with a microlite plane...

Hi, I'm subscriber 500. Now you can remove those plastic wraps from your headsets.
LOL! Thanks for being 500! My wife has been bugging me about that since we started flying the LRR and we did finally pull off the wraps!
