Really like it Peter ... that is the aircraft and how you present it professionally for us all to enjoy. Looking forward to land this one on a cargo ship too ;-)
I really enjoyed this, thank you. To a non flyer but enthusiastic wannabe.. it was very interesting. Lovely photography and sound.. and a professional pilot.. just marvellous. Thanks again. Liked and subbed now, keep them coming. Good luck. ...
Oil temperature needs to be above 50 celsius (122 Fahrenheit) for full power. Gauge in this aircraft starts at 50 celsius, so when the needle moves above 50, all good to go!
I was wondering, do you know whether Aeroprakt have abandoned the Y shape joystick in the middle altogether, as seen in some A22's and if so, is there any particular reason for it? It seemed a very convenient concept, leaving more space in front of the pilot and perhaps a more natural relaxed position for the arms.
+Alpha 5.28 No, the Y-stick has not been abandoned, it remains an option on the A22 and I understand it will become available later this year on the A32
Y-stick on the A32 will be available on aircraft manufactured from September 2016. See my blog for more info and pictures: foxbatpilot.com/2016/06/09/new-y-stick-controls-for-a32-vixxen/
Useful load with full fuel tanks: 411 or 499 pounds (for people and baggage) Fuel Capacity: Either 24 or 30 gallon (Qty 2 12 or 15 gallon wing tanks) www.aeropraktusa.com/index.html www.aeropraktusa.com/a32-vixxen.html www.aeropraktusa.com/build-yours.html
Hi Ariel - yes, the plane is a short take-off and landing aircraft, typically 75 metres at max weight, maybe even 50 metres with only one person on board. Yes, a ballistic recovery system can be installed by the factory during manufacture.
You people speak the aviation language in a strange manner... "put away the flaps" - most places say "raise the flaps" or "flaps zero".... Pretty little aircraft though...
What a joy to watch. Great commentary, nice footage and a very nice display of professionalism. Thanks for uploading
Thanks a lot for the footage. I used to fly Aeroprakt A22 "Foxbat".

I have learned more in these 18 minutes than 100 other videos with ennoying music.
Thank you!
Nice ride. Beautiful aircraft.
I love it , so perfect
cool final check review, thanks.
Very informative video! Amazing plane!
Great video. Nice plane. Thanks.
Great video and test flight!
Very nicely done! How do I find out how to purchase one? And is there a price break down chart show options?
Great video
It seems thar 40 degrees bank is in Australia 60 degrees. Is it ok to use full power in cold Rotax engine?

Can you run both tanks at once like a Cessna or must you choose one then the other?
I can see that the oil temp is almost constantly below the green area.. what is the reason for this?
Unlike many LSAs, these aircraft often run relatively cool. Or it could be an under-reading temp gauge....
Engine temperature went up into the green after some load made temp, looks normal.

Thank you for your information.
Y-stick option has been available now for a few months. So far, 3 delivered in Australia.
where did you get the Manzella gloves?
John - I've had them for quite a while. I think I got them from a Katmandu clothes store.
1500 on the Idle? Isn’t that a bit low?

Nice bush plane.
I want a job like that! How do I get a job like that? BTW, I have no British accent and cannot fly, so I'll need some on the job training.
Hi Indiana Joe - to start with, you need to get a flying license and some extra flying experience on top.
Aussie, not …..
can the plane do short take off and landings. can you install a brs system

nice
I hope they make it available in the US
It seems i only like flying when the plane is on the ground, it's too cool. Off the ground is too high! 😬
Never Google images of "Vixxen" x . x
The name is a complete fail :( But the plane is great.
Cool video ! Aeroprakt A32 made in Ukraine ?
Aha. In Kiev.
Note to pilot: engine temps way to low outside of specifications set by Rotax for flight.
Really? Pffft!
Is that a submarine at 14.05?
What sharp eyes you have! Yes, it is a submarine.
