  • Many patients are unsure when and how to seek treatment for their Thyroid Eye Disease. While initial symptoms may be mild, and often misdiagnosed as dry eye or other eye conditions, symptoms can become more severe and impact vision and eye comfort. Making sure you are evaluated early, with prompt diagnosis and discussion of all treatment options is important. Early intervention helps to prevent worsening of the disease, and most importantly to minimize the impact the thyroid eye disease has on your daily life.

I have blepharoplasty, canthoplasty&cantopexy at once on my right eye
For the last two weeks,i have diplopia only when i ride my motorcycle
But when i'm on the passanger's seat
& 1 week before my surgery,my right eye has myopia +1,25 but now i think it'up to +2,25 because i have my reading glasses +2 & i tried it's much clearer. How can surgery worsen my myopia?
    Thanks
