I love that Monica and Chandler are in the exact same positions, also in Monica's living room, when they get engaged for real a season later!
Nice detail
Oh yeaaaa!!
I never realized this! What a sweet detail ❤
I loved this scene so much. Chandler had no idea why he was proposing to Monica but he did it anyways just to keep her
That's pretty fucked up. In real life, he would have ruined his relationship by doing this.
@@williammccormick984I agree with you for the most part but I think the fact that he started with “I’m not afraid to do this” meant that his heart was in the right place.
@@williammccormick984 but that's the great thing about dating your best friend right? Monica doesn't leave him because of this because she knows is insane amount of commitment issues and how scary it was for him to propose and he still did it anyway because he believed it would make her happy and they would stay together
@@elinama7061 That's very sweet, but we're talking about the real world. In the real world, she would leave him over this 95/100 times. All I was saying. Don't lose the romantic perspective :)
@@williammccormick984 I don't understand why. He shows her that he loves her and is ready to change his life for her. Bad idea but good intention. Any mature women can just stay with such a man and take the opportunity to discuss and grow together.
The way he touched her cheeks "I didn't think I was" that is something more than love, that is friendship and the comfort that comes with it ❤
Thank you! I noticed that and went "How sweeeet"!
"2 divorces & joey"
That killed me 😂😂
Ross ups it to 3 divorces and kept Joey!
Love the emotion change from "...behind being ready and actually wanting to get married" and "will you be my wife?".
1:00 “The best reason to get married is pregnancy.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 LMAO! Phoebe and Rachel’s offended reactions are just perfect!
That may be universally the best, but still not for Joey.
He's intensely adorable in this clip
Two divorces and Joey 😂
Edit: Now that I think about it, Ross would have gotten much better help if he talked to Monica during/before his fallout with Rachel. Like imagine Ross saying he talked to Chandler and Joey and Monica responded with "you're taking relationship advice from a guy afraid of commitment and Joey?" Lol
At least Ross wised up by the Season 4 premiere and never took advice from them again.
his fallout with Rachel for majority /most part was his fault and throughout the season all the friends were on Rachel's side... i don't think anyone supported him
What would she call Chandler and Ross
Your edit ruined all the idea of the joke about Ross and Joey 🤨, good job!
@@Gemnist98Yeah and then he took nobody's advice and ended up married to Emily in six weeks. I think even Joey and Chandler woulda given Ross some good advice advising against that.
They later proposed in the exact same spot
And Chandler gets his wish that everyone else isn't around when it happens for real!
Aww!! Yes 😢❤❤
Lol Joey’s head-nod @ 1:44 is killing me over here as he is supposed to be supportive of Ross as they both just got dissed by Monica. 😂
Yes, Joey and Ross. Oh my! 👏🥰
The ending of the episode with Ross joking about getting married with Rachel was hilarious
Ross steals every scene with his expressions!
That was a cute scene. Love it even more when the audience gets all excited and happy. Adorable. Love the sweet understanding between Monica and Chandler. That's great! 🤗🥰
I maintain that this is what set the train in motion for season 6's finale. Kevin Bright typically doesn't leave the audience screams in the final cut so, when this happened and that happened, it's clear that they were using this as a litmus test to see if the audience was onboard with Mondler for the long haul as a viable couple -- not just FWBs -- and wanted the viewers to get onboard as well.
They passed with flying colors. Part of that was riding the momentum that they got from the first litmus test filming in London and hearing the audience going out of their minds with excitement. This first proposal was the all-important home test, back on the WB lot. If the fans back home didn't care for Mondler or Monica and Chandler individually, then they and BKC would have flunked.
Luckily for Friends history, they passed the home test. Onward with my favorite Friends couple!
The way he says Will you be my wife after those reasons is just too funny.
That's a very cute and maturely turned down marriage proposal
'She's right, you know?'
'Yeah, but still... cheap shot!'
"The best reason to get married is pregnancy"
-Rachel: 🤨🙄😒
That makes more sense later when she's pregnant, and Ross proposes to get married🤔
actually Ross never proposed ahaha......or did he??🤔........i mean it..DOES sound like something he would do🧐....
@@cupcake101 no way you didn't understand the reference.
@@RegReg02 Joey does though!
@@victorpradha9946 please tell me you understood the reference
Ross is wearing the red shirt 🤭
it was a sweater
one of my fav scenes in friends - funnny, sweet, well -written and well-played)) Two divorcees and Joey is the best line)) And Rachel's face))
"Where's Monica i need to talk to her" well she told you she's still not done not wanting to talk to you Chandler, you gonna have to find some other magical way to do this 😂😂😂
Cute pitch but it's not gonna make it past the huddle.
0:33:That's me and my friend's reaction to when Hans proposed to Anna in Disney's Frozen
Two divorces and Joey😂
the smile Monica gives at first seemed like she was going to say yes but seeing others present she said no
1:46. 😂 Ross sounded like one of those stuck up rich girls.
😂😂 yea
Well to be fair, all the Friends characters are stuck up in some way.
Ross and Joey’s reaction 😂
“I’m doing this because I’m sorry”.
Pov- Perfect relationships does exist.
in all fairness, though, that first divorce was not his fault
How do we know that he didn't turn Carol lesbian?
@@eclectica1because people are born gay, not turned
@@eclectica1he was extremely passionate ...gifted her really expensive stuff..
She had a kid with him!!
And she didn't hate his guts as she accepted that it's her problem
@@lisak8492nobody is born gay lol
@@Anthony-945 if you can “choose” your sexuality then i have news for you buddy
I think the ending of this episode was way funnier especially with the "we were on a break" thingy 😂
Cheap shot 🤣🤣🤣🤣
RIP Matthew Perry 💔
“Two divorces and Joey ?” - Monica Geller
Ross is wearing the same red sweater 😂😂😂
If Rachel and Chandler would been a thing Rachel would just say “Well I will say yes since Monica say no”
Rachel’s face when Chandler proposes to Monica is hilarious
I’ll give the writers credit for cleverly foreshadowing the real proposal at the end of Season 6. That was beautiful! 🥹🥰🥰🥰
Except...they didn't do that. They wrote this and then just copied it later when the "real" proposal was a storyline. They didn't do this knowing how the actual one would go down. Jesus, are you stupid?
Cant not look at it 😂😂😂
Another reason to get married is when your career is not going anywhere, like Penny did in TBBT.
Lol true 😂
2 divorces n Joey 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
you know, most guys are like Chandler, just tell them what to do or the just need you to give them options and suggestions.
I love the foreshadowing in this episode
Monica: Who Two divorces and Joey
Me: Monica went overkill on Ross it’s like Jennifer Spencer from Sudden Impact killing someone in the head then in manhood
No, she didn't.
And one year later they were in that same position doing it for real :)
Two devorces and joeyy😂😂
RIP Matthew Perry
I recall Rachel was the one who pushed the subject on chandler initially in this episode
Only truth about this whole series was that Chandler with his humor was about 10 000 000 light years ahead of all other 5 characters combined, with their dull predictability
I hate how our vision of Phoebe is obscured so we can't see her initial reaction to the proposal!!!
Matty ❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢😢
There is no good reason for Joey to get married. 😂🤣🤣
When you can have buffet why settle for anything else.
Omg two divorce and Joey and Rachel says I can’t stop look at 😂
Which episode is this ?
The second one was definitely better
Tenically the second one was in Vegas the big official 1 was the 3rd.
Lol
Almost no-one realised that Chandler completely diffused the argument and went back to how it was before. Without getting engaged... Genius.
Who are here after Matthew's death? 😒
😍😍😍
Hi ❤❤❤❤❤❤
