The second part of the mecha scale comparison. This took 35 hours to render on our very old Intel i7 3970x with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 rendering machine.

HOLY CRAP Danguard Ace was HUGE‼️ In the Shogun Warriors comic they were all the same size! Poor Raideen and Combattler would’ve gotten smashed by him😢

Part 3: Gurren Lagan, Getter Emperor
Great video, I had no idea Danguard Ace was that big.
I used to watch Danguard Ace alongside with other anime shows Like Grandizer, Gaiking & the 3 Starvengers robots (Getter Dragon, Arrow, & Poseidon) as part of the Force Five anime show back in the early 80's when I was a kid. (Like you, I've always assumed that all super robots were about the same size.)
Really cool looking. Gunbuster is actually 240 meters tall though
Full height is 240 meters. Head height is 200 meters.
By putting them all together in a realistic environment, I suddenly realized... these giant robots are probably pretty useless in a real fight... my childhood dreams 😭

I really enjoyed this. Two robots I was looking out for that I didn’t see were the Megazord from Power Rangers/Super Sentai, and Jet Jaguar from Godzilla.

イデオンとアイアンギアだけデカくて、あとはみんな同じくらいだと思っていました。
ガンダムなんてみんなの膝くらいしかないのね。
初代のガンダムとマジンガーZがたしか同じサイズですね。どちらも18メートル。
本来のイデオンはあれの3倍以上デカイ。この比較では画面に収まらないですよ？
ダンカードＡがデカ過ぎですね。あれじゃ戦闘機状態でも大きいので、それを格納する基地も大きいのでしょうね。
ガンバスターとほとんど同じくらいなんですね。そこまで大きいとは思わなかった。どちらも星間飛行能力を持つロボですが。
マジンカイザーはOVA版は23m、スパロボオリジナル版が28m、この動画のはinfinitism版（サイズ不明）さらにゲッタードラゴンは50m
You may have covered this in another video but since you have Voltron Go Lion you should also do Voltron Dairugger XV. Great video!
Cry Macross VF's too small for these mechs. But the Macross class ship should count. 1200m tall, two aircraft carriers as arms and hands.

ゴライオン辺りは海外での知名度が高いから選ばれて当然だけど、17とかバラタックとかバルディオスとか、何故それを選んだって感じ

One doubt. From where Mazinkaiser's size came from? Isn't kaiser a bit taller than great mazinger? 30m at most?
EDIT: Bad on my side. I should've opened with how good the video was. Kaiser was the only weird thing to be fair. As far as I know the rest of the sizes were spot on. And its always nice seeing these guys lined against each other. Thanks for sharing!
Kaiser gets confusing because between the original incarnation and following appearances, it's official sizes vary. And the original came from one of the earlier Super Robot Wars games. It's NOT the same size as the later anime counterpart, and in fact the size and weight shown here. This video is on point.
@@MrMarket1987 Mazinkaiser OVA version is 32 meter tall, the SRW version is 28 meters, the EVA units are 40-50 meters not 80 meters
@ Apparently it has two SRW sizes as is. The F/Final one seems to be where this one came from. The other versions are smaller.

Only Iron-gear is very heavy.
That's the weight of a ship with a large drainage volume, which is probably a different standard than other robots.

Glad to see Daimos, Voltes V and Golion in the lineup. You missed grand daddy Gundam though.

I think that the robots from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are missing... to be honest, the last robot, the eponimous Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann was a bit too oversized to be real (it ought to collapse in a supermassive black hole) so I am willing to concede that it was hard to render.
I know that you used the values from each canon, but the weights seem a bit all over the place... proof that anime/manga authors have no sense of scale.

比較するのは良いんですが、幾つか間違いがあり、大鉄人17は50m、バルディオスは100m、そしてマジンカイザーは28mが正しい身長(全高)です。
あと何故ゴッドマーズ(50m)やゴーショーグン(52.5m)それにボルトロンにもなったダイラガーⅩⅤ(60m)を出さなかったのでしょうか？
更に特撮の17(ワンセブン)が比較で出たり主役じゃないアイアンギアーが出したのは正直謎ですね。

ダンガードAがこんなにデカイとは知らなんだ。17が実写系から登場が草。
ダンガードAの身長は設定では200メートルだけど、アニメでは60メートルぐらい。
巨大ロボと言っても作中では比較対象がない場所で戦っていることが多いから、単純に数10メートルって設定があってもピンとこないことも多い。
マジンカイザーの身長ってグレンダイザーと同じぐらいだから30mぐらいじゃなかったっけ？🤔

Judging from various works, your idea of 30m is not convincing. It is correct that the Mazinkaiser should be over 50m.

Lots more to we want add.. hopefully in version 2 when we get to model the missing ones and some more recent mecha

I think he used "accurate" heights, I mean if kaiser was 28 metters the cockpit would be too small for koji to fit in, and almost every bit from the ova where koji appears inside the cockpit makes the head look almost like 8 meters tall

@@juliamxd9614 thereare no "accurate height" with super robots, lol it was all depending on the single episode... he used the official heights for every single other robots in the list except for mazinkaiser, he did not "guess" any of them, so i think it's simply an error
What about Mazinger Zero? How big it is? It can change size at will, but i suspect that usually it isn't much bigger than Z.
Since z in the zero manga was stated to be over 30 metters Ild say abou 34 meters maybe??

合身とは、人間とロボットが分子レベルで融合すること。人間が巨大化するというより、人間が分解されて広がってメカと混ざり合う。

Optimus Prime was in Part 1. Why are there no Transformers in Part 2? I'm pretty sure Unicron will come later (Part 4 maybe?), since a planet size mech would be way too big for this batch, but surely guys like Devastator (united Constructicons) would be found here. I would think they would be around the size of Voltes V.

Mazinkaiser is not that tall. It's about 32meters. When he fights against great Mazinger (25m) it's taller and broader but not that much
