The problem with the way of thinking about “what if this happened to your daughter” is that they only care because it’s their own kid. He doesn’t actually respect women still
To respond to your question about the baby. My absolute fear would be the child ending up abused by them as well. If they were to get visitation or any custody. It's a scary thought to factor in.
I love watching people watch this movie so i don't have to commit to it 😌💅 edit: it has barley started and i want to turn away and erase this from my brain.
I went to see this movie with a friend and everyone in the theater was all aww this and aww that during the first half. Meanwhile I, knowing that this is not a romcom and what the movie was REALLY about (not because I'd read the book but beacuse I am on booktok), I was cringing and just waiting for the shoe to drop. At the end of the day, I feel that just like the marketing campaing of the original Blair Witch Project movie made it the horror classic that it is (despite being quite boring IMO) the opposite is true for this movie, all of the controversy surrounding the marketing of this movie has put a damper on what I believe to be a decent movie. However, I'm not someone who's entitled to speak on the representation of domestic abuse or SA, so my opinion is purely based on how entertaining it is as a movie/piece of entertainment.
oh i too assumed you're a huge youtuber and i went to see how many views were here, i was like, 'one day ago, so is it 500k yet or just like 100k?' and my brain needed a minute to process the '570 views' lmao wish you all the best, the video is super cool and i loooooove vids like this, with full analysis and clips
i understand her decision to keep the baby. (i'm just spamming comments at this point cause i like the video and i want it to be recommended to people). first of all, hormones. i was in a situation where there was a possibility of unplanned pregnancy, and honestly, until i knew of that possibility i didn't want kids. after i learned that i might be pregnant, i prayed to god that i was (i wasn't thankfully lol). but at the time i didn't care that i don't love the potential father-to-be and that i was a teenager. i just fell in love with what i wasn't even sure exists, and learning that it didn't exist was a little heartbreak. second of all, i heard that there are some laws that make it easier to hold custody to the mother if she proves that the father was abusive to her and therefor puts all the family in danger. third of all, lilly is stupid.
