I tried to do it on my new phone today and it said invalid Mei. It doesn't work,I had to go to metro pcs and pay the 15.00. I asked them why it didn't work and she said it's because you have to bring it into the store .My metro pcs had a special where you can add a line for free and pay 60.00 a month for both phones so that's what I did .

@@10mely97 I'm sorry but don't use Metro by T-Mobile. I mainly use AT&T service and I'm paying only $40 a month for unlimited talk and text for there prepaid phone and I absolutely love it 😉
Great tip but i have a question ... How do i chage my name on account or how do i setup an account with a name not on my id...i ask cause now metro asks for your id befor i never had to use an id ...basically im just loooking to set up a new plan or old account with a name not on my id
@@lil_esko well what I did was call *228 and did the set up for my phone and I its automated and when It told me for my pin it ask me if I didn't know it and I said yes so it sent me a confirmation code and insert it and it worked so you don't need your pin as long you enter the code it sends you and it did work my phone is a s10e and it works on Metro PCS with no problems
