It blows just air or dust? It will always blow air, no matter what. If something is wrong with your filter, it may blow the stuff you suck up. Right back out.
How to blow it out?
I love this vaccum. $35 buck at Lowes! WOW! I use it because I have my K9 with me all the time and I have to vaccum my truck and room out DAILY

There’s a hole on the backside of the wet vac, what does that do?
It acts as a blower instead of suction
Do I use it with the Blue filter cover on it? If I'm not sucking up wet stuff? My old one had 2 different covers, one for dry and one for wet.
Whenever I use this device. It'll suck up anything I need it too. But it blows out the back end. Any idea why.??

don't try cleaning a fireplace or pellet smoker ash as it stinks at picking up ash.
