    Why is all this rain coming out of my eyes. What an absolute blimming legend. Determination and courage. Even if he hadn't beaten the stammer he would still be who he is. An example to us all.

    Woah he even kept on improving between the speech and going back on the show, I was listening to him chatting there and had the exact same reaction a second or so before Devina did of "hang on holy shit you've been speaking naturally and fluently for like a minute". If you read the comments here James, this is really impressive and you're funny too!

    It is possible to overcome it. I did mine thanks to Lee Lovett’s Stop Stuttering Short Course: How to Break the Stuttering Code book and his WSSA online program. Diligently immerse yourself in his methods and you’ll see vast improvements.

    Amazing. It's usually the people who have issues that are the nicest people on this planet!! sooooo inspirational for me struggling to accept this as part of who I am; however I have my ways of hiding it. Speaking a little faster than usual works for me as it prevents me from blocking and choking on the words I'm trying to produce. This guy had it chronic though. Lovely guy - wish him all the best

      Leonardhh4 my brother didn't speak until he was 8 despite the fact my parents took him to speech therapy for the age of 3. Speech therapy doesn't work for everyone from that young age.

    How does this work because davina doesn't change and just walkes along the stage but the guests change

    • @asiamie23
      @asiamie23 6 років тому +1

      Rebecca Tait They edit it really well so it seems like it’s the same moment(scene) and also have her wear the same clothes. I heard that sometimes they even have the same audience. With all this it seems like that it is the same scene when really it is the next year

    • @asiamie23
      @asiamie23 6 років тому +1

      I think that they have the same audience too so that the audience is not completely confused

    • @jessl6523
      @jessl6523 6 років тому +1

      Clever editing! Last year ends with him walking into the door and this year starts with Davina walking across the stage

    • @stephenmcconnell1000
      @stephenmcconnell1000 6 років тому +1

      They stop recording when the guest walks through the door and re-record one year later with Davina wearing the same dress and walking across the stage. The patterns moving from left to right between the two doors is to make us feel that the person is moving across at the exact same time. To complete the illusion, the sound of an audience clapping is dubbed over the video from a few moments before the cameras stop filming until Davina reaches the other side of the stage. I don't know whether it would be the same audience.

    • @erinbroadhurst1921
      @erinbroadhurst1921 5 років тому

      The change happens in the moment they wall through the door and lithe screen goes gold so when she walks across the stage it's already next year. Just the same outfit and everything
