This is tutorial about how to crochet mini butterfly applique. In this video tutorial, I am using Stylecraft Special DK yarn, white cotton yarn, and crochet hook size 3 mm.

Pattern:
In a magic ring: ch 3, tr, tr, ch 2, sc, ch 2, dc, ch 2, sl st (left-side complete). Continue with: ch 2, dc, ch 2, sc, ch 2, tr, tr, ch 3, sl st (right-side complete).
Cut the yarn. Fasten off.
Use white cotton yarn to make the body.

I got it messed up at first, but got it right the second and third times.
Yet, the loop for the tr is big despite my hook being an N. I used the large hook because of how tight I tend to make the projects and it ends up feeling rough when the projects are tight.
Anyone know another trick I can utilize to keep the projects soft not tight?
