I was lucky enough to see the Quo numerous times in the late 80's and early 90's. Always an experience, always exhausting. I always wanted to have a private party and hire these guys to play for a few hundred of my closest friends!!
The band that combined the lighter end of hard rock, the physically impossible and truly testing guitars to destruction. If it could survive Rick through the intro, it was probably indestructible. Status Quo aren't the best-known band in the world, but they can be regarded as one of the founders of, well, all the modern sounds, such was their diversity and skill from the 60s to Parfitt's tragic death from about the one thing that wasn't on the list of likely suspects (and only months before news reports surfaced of a cure for this sort of blood infection). No news on the website if Richie Malone will be a full member, or if the 2017 dates previously committed to are the end of the road. Whatever happens, there's never been anything like this before and there'll never be anything like it again.

These guys have been around since about 1965 and they still ROCK! So Much energy, and great musicians as well! No matter what they play, it sounds as good as the original artist and in some cases even better! I sure wish the toured the states!
There's a reason why they're still playing after more than 40 years. I've never seen any other band have such a connection with the audience and actually have fun on stage. Going to a Quo concert is honestly the most fun you'll ever have, and the next few days will be the worst because you miss that great feeling you had at their concert and you want to go see them again. That's what being the greatest rock band is about :)
