Hades is not feared, he's respected, he is a just ruler. Persephone on the other hand is feared more than her husband. They call her "Dread Persephone"

Hades never once cheated on Persephone.
    He respected her opinions.
He allowed her to make decisions and rule by his side.
Okaaay, so he was a better man/person/husband than his brother, Zeus? Well, now nothing can shock me anymore. Like, I can’t believe the God of the underworld is a better match than the most powerful God in Ancient Greek.

Technically speaking, Hades' act wasn't THAT rash. He followed the tradition at the time by going to her father and asking permission to marry her, only taking Persephone AFTER Zeus basically said, "I'm not saying yes, but I'm also not saying no". So technically speaking, it wasn't so much as a kidnapping, as it was an arranged marriage.

    • @zanleekain117

I heard one version where because of her over protective mother, it was more of an elopement then a real kidnapping, which kinda makes sense seeing how jealous some of the gods where.

According to Overly Sarcastic Productions , Persephone’s role in the coming of Spring-
-is… fully incidental. It’s Demeter bringing the world back to life.Which means, functionally, Persephone… isn’t the goddess of spring.Spring is Demeter’s job.The only thing Persephone’s explicitly the goddess of is the underworld.

In GOW Chains of Olympus (PSP game) she was the mastermind of a plan to destroy the gods and creation. She despised the Olympians for letting her be taken by Hades and being married a god who she didn't love and basically becoming the queen of the underworld and raising the good souls like a mother. She released Atlas to destroy the pillar holding the world and kidnapped Helios so the sun would go out covering the world in eternal nightfall allowing Morpheus(the god of dreams) to put the gods in a neverending slumber so they didn't interfere. The final fight was one of the most emotional in the series.
Hades didn't just fight kratos for killing Persephone, all of the gods were consumed by the evils of Pandora's Box and Zeus was consumed by fear. He called the gods to fight Kratos for the survival of Olympus and their own lives too. Kratos was causing the end of days and already killed The Furies, Persephone, Ares, Thanatos and his daughter, the Sisters of Fate and Athena before GOW 3 and Poseidon in the later.
