Is the ciret tape a good choice for freshly painted woodwork? I've used both yellow and orange frog tape with mixed results.
Yes but I'd recommend the Purple low tack Ciret tape rather than the Red. Or we also like the Tesa Yellow.
Do you spray over the rubber aswell
No never, always cover it. We can do a video on how to tape it and protect it.
