OFID in Mozambique - Eduardo Mondlane University

OFID has supported Mozambique's National Strategy for Higher Education through the Eduardo Mondlane University project, which is featured in this video. The university's infrastructure has not kept pace with increasing enrolment levels. OFID's co-financing will help fund construction of four new
buildings to accommodate mathematics, computer science, biology and administration, totaling over 12,000 square meters. With an expected 40 percent increase in graduates, the university will help strengthen human capacity, and in turn, boost the country's socio-economic development.
