Hey ! I’m currently trying to get into a university in Japan and they need N5 and EJU , could you tell me which university you are applying for and how you did that ?
(If you haven't), If you start a UA-cam channel and try to speak Japanese there, then the time that would take to reach his level might be shorter ... 😄 There'd be a lot of preparing before filming and and a lot of reviewing while editing! Good luck with your N5 exam!
Et why anyone bothers to take n4-5. It's pointless. 99% of places want you you to have n1/2 and Sometimes maybe 3. Why would you waste your time on 4 and 5? Someone mentioned a place wanting them to have it? Why? N5 does not mean you can converse in japanese
@@kamikotojpWhile I agree that N5 and N4 alone don’t prepare you to work or study abroad, I found these levels provided a good goalpost or benchmark when I first began self-studying Japanese, with no prior background. Some people benefit from having a particular test date to motivate them while they slog through flashcards, textbooks, etc. Especially since it’s hard to enjoy any native media until you can pass those early levels.
When it comes to speaking another language out loud I'm very shy. I'm thankful to have found your channel though, because I'm learning a lot just through your videos! Thank you again Sensei! I can tell you have a love for teaching and that you care a lot about your students!
ヤレックさん、こんにちは。Yes, his Japanese is great, but actually your level doesn't matter whether you can have fun in a lesson. I think it's just your attitude for the language. If you try to have fun, you can always have fun!! Thank you for your comment.
I don't have struggles with japanese pronunciation because of my native language, it's word structure or let's say sounds are like japanese, it's quite an advantage. My japanese friend was learning my language but was pronouncing the words in an English way so I told him to pronounce them like he would in Japanese and he was a few steps to sounding native😅😅

"Hello" has no direct existence in Bengali just like Japanese. Either you'll have to use "Good Morning", "Good Afternoon" or "Good Evening" depending upon time.
This was very helpful. Thank you so much! You mentioned it in the video but the intonation of a whole sentence only goes down correct ? You never raise the pitch back up ?

Hello, I'm not the teacher but I can recommend some (free) ressources that I've been using to learn japanese. Firstly, to learn any languages you shoud adopt an immersion styled approach, so you should regularly consume content (animes, news, videos games... whatever you like) in your target language (here japanese). You should also make tangible objectives like learning a certain amount of kanji or trying to be able to read a specific book or manga... For learning the kanas (hiragana and katakana) you can use duolingo (it's kind of useless beyond that though). For the vocabulary I would recommend using Anki (a free and effective flashcard program) with the 2k/6k deck as well as the JLPT N5 Tango Japanese deck. Anki is fully customizable since you can add the decks that you are interested in and "addons" to personalize your experience. Everything is free and made by the community. For words that you don't know you can use Jisho. org as well as takoboto. For verbs conjugations there is cooljugator. There is also an extension called 10ten reader on firefox that is quite useful too. What's more you can use youtube channels such as: Japanese Ammo with Misa (for grammar and more extremely useful channel) Miku Real Japanese (vocab and grammar) Organic Japanese with Cure Dolly (for grammar made by a Vtuber) あかね的日本語教室 (for immersion lots of vlogs) Comprehensible Japanese (for immersion various videos about differents topics) もしもしゆうすけ (monologue in japanese with subtitles) Benjiro - Beginner Japanese (one on one conversations with native speakers) 日本語の森 (for JLPT) NihongoDekita with Sayaka (for everyday vocabulary and more) 大愚和尚の一問一答 (teachings about buddha it's advanced immersion) ゆうだい先生 (for advanced pitch accent) That's about all I can think of. English words should be pronounced only with English accent and not with Japanese pitch or accent. Some of the Japanese who speak English it is difficult to understand them because of their Japanese accent while speaking English.
They made it in a way that will adjust to their way of speaking which is syllabary, i also having difficulty and feel awkward when saying english loan words the japanese way but i kinda get where the japanese are coming from. It is the beauty of learning the language, you adjust to it.
You never get frustrated? It's time for you to get your own class of annoying high school kids, trying to learn English..lol. I have to admit that this particular student is a bit more advanced..
AGHHHHHH WHO MADE PITCH ACCENT, I CANT LIKE UNDERSTANDDDDD like how do i even know?????? In english everything is flat sounding but like its like i cant pinpoint where the accent even is, also its hard to make the letters sound higher and lower without overdoing it
I say don't worry too much about it then. Give it time, and focus on building vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, etc. Those are important things you'll need to learn first before pitch accent will even matter. I'm guessing you're kind of at the beginning phase of learning Japanese? As long as you're aware that there is such a thing as pitch accent, just listen and pay attention, maybe do a lot of shadowing, and your brain will eventually pick it up. Then you can polish it to a spit-shine once you're at a higher level.
English has an Accent. It's got a Stress Accent and the syllable that has the accent tends to be longer, higher in pitch and volume too. Japanese people think that Japanese is flat too. But its not.
Do you offer private lessons anywhere online? I saw in another comment that your making a phonetics course, but I'd also absolutely pay for beginner-intermediate level lessons.

Just like Japanese, In Bengali it also differs like,
おはようございます --> শুভ সকাল (Shubho Shokal)
こんにちは --> শুভ অপরাহ্ন
(Shubho Oporanho)
こんばんは --> শুভ সন্ধ্যা (Shubho Shondha)
"Hello" has no direct existence in Bengali just like Japanese.
Either you'll have to use "Good Morning", "Good Afternoon" or "Good Evening" depending upon time.
