My favorite building technique that I saw was how you positioned the sloped pieces right next to the spike on the foot. Ingenious!
I would love to see the skeleton, how the joints work and how you attach armor to them.

I don't know if this mech comes from some anime (I admit that it reminds me a lot of Patlabor or Gundam), or if it is your original creation. In any case, it's really cool: apart from the concept of the "dog" configuration, what I appreciate about these not totally humanoid mechs is precisely their less...superheroic aspect, so to speak. We are halfway between the more functional designs, as can be found in Battletech, and the more human-like, combat suit-style ones.
I also really like the choice of colors, but above all the fact that, despite being made of Lego, it closely resembles an action figure, especially in the bust.

As stated in the summary section of this video, the original story of this work is the Japanese TV anime "Armored Trooper Votoms".
I think you can find the answer by searching for "scope dog" on Google.
It is an old TV anime that is not as well known as the Gundam series outside of Japan, but it is still very popular among Votoms fans in Japan.
