@@wearemahker no you shouldn't have to to pay£35 for massive wheel nuts ,wheel mania could manufacture custom spec wheels to fit standard wheel nuts.I love the chanel but I don't think you found right solution to that problem.

Good Vlog. Just got the 300tdi head bolted back in place. Thanks for the tip about getting the injectors tested, would possibly have had a trip out if you were open sat mornings and I wasnt the wrong side of Wolverhampton regarding traffic. Found somewhere local. will find out this weekend hopefully if his diagnosis of good is correct. He has just had his latest gear serviced, I think 25000 psi (may be out on the zeros i am still in the tdi era) was mentioned when I dropped off and collected. I did say I only wanted them testing not blowing apart and I think they were given the all clear on the manual pump with a clean and new washers. If he may be of use to yourselves I can supply information as price seemed reasonable against quote he gave me. was electronic injectors to. head tested and skimmed ok MLS gasket supplied (hope I dont f it up). new bolts bought and some other new bits to go in. Only a query are those big nuts on the axle left hand thread on the passenger side? I used to disengage drive in deep ruts at billing on the passenger side with rotation of the wheel and free wheeling hub exposed, or put those indicators like they have truck wheels to tell if they have moved. have seen a wheel come off a 110 I followed back from there in the past as well, think that was standard wheels to. only a thought. Check your nuts whatever size they are ( could feature in a campaign I suppose ).

The Maer axles are indeed impressive, but after asking around the demob agents they (collectively) have never seen a broken Wolf axle, and we all know if a squaddie can’t break it, it generally can’t be broken…not a fan of those custom lug nuts though Dave, sorry…but you know I ❤ Mahker

Your Defender opinion piece would have been better if the question had mentioned 'old' Defender - I thought it was an opportunity to put the boot into the new model. Refreshing honesty from the crew esp the young fella who declared they were affordable but only if you did the spanner work.
The Dakota dash pack is nice but IMO the chrome surround does not sit well in the interior of a Defender. Get them to put the surround in matt black?
Otherwise another great episode of Defender porn.
