I saw your video climbing Mt. Kinabalo, so I guess you can climb Apo even in one day. Great Vlog! Amazing Adventure for you beautiful ladies :) I'm planning to go to Mt Apo on last week of November. Can you share some details like itinerary, expenses and who's the organizer? Thank you
Hi Marvz! The organizer normally sends the itinerary to you depending on how many days you want to do the hike; overnight or two nights. This is the details of our guide: : Name ANJO B DORADO Cellphone # 09092280108
I am so jealous with the trail.. It's not as muddy as it was when we went to Mt.Apo just last year after the downfall of Typhoon Odette.. Imagine!!! Hahaha
Never been hike for 3 years now and were planning to trek mt apo next month. Can you advice what could be or necessary preps before the trek? What brand of shoes you advice? The last time I climbed mountain during our mission, I used to wear "bota" or boot shoes same with the one wearing by the locals and yeah, I like it, rain or shine! ❤
Hi Donna! OOhhh an exciting adventure ahead!! We have a vlog on what to bring to Mt. Apo. Please note and only bring what you feel is necessary based on our suggestions :) ua-cam.com/video/rZj5g21cFng/v-deo.html
Hello! Waterproof and boots style because the mud can reach up to your ankles. And because its a long hike, its better to have shoes that protect your ankles in case fatigue kicks in and your stepping gets clumsier (happens to me anyway in long hikes).
Hello! For this hike, I used my winter boots from Columbia but for my normal tropical hiking boots, I use Merrell. You can find the list of my essentials I use in my website: www.thetravellingfoxes.com/ouressentials
Hi! You will need a tour guide as they will apply for permits ahead of time. There are also different trails to take so you can advise your tour guide which one you want to take.

Oh yes, completely agree with you! In Mt Apo, we literally have to go take a dump in any bushy area we can find and that is why they banned the use of wet wipes because it doesn't desintegrate fast. But after the guide told me that we can go anywhere in the mountain, I understood why. Other high peaks in the Philippines have a makeshift toilet like a hole in the ground kind of scenario but I guess Mt Apo has enough water sources and is always rainy to wash it all away. p.s.
