- We are relaxing on the Oregon Coast at Lincoln City. Over the holiday we spend two nights at the Starfish Manor. At this 18+ hotel we enjoy the view, the jetted tub and some relaxation.
While not relaxing we check out breweries, restaurants, a glass blower and a coffee roaster.
We taste the beers from Beachcrest Brewing, McMenamin's Lighthouse Pub and Rusty Truck Brewing.
We have German food and beer served at Autobahn 101, seafood at Moe's and Pub Fish n' Chips. We stop by HWY 101 Burger for a fresh, not frozen double cheeseburger.
Lucky for us the Lincoln City Glass Center was opened, and we observed a glass blowing class going on.
We only were in the Chinook Winds Casino for a couple of hours before we lost our money and went back to the hot tub to console ourselves. We drove by just to show where it happened and to show the parking area for the rvs.
The coffee roaster was a great visit, and we are sure to return for another visit at the Cape Foul Weather Coffee Company.
We loved walking the beach and was sorry to go. There is never enough time when it comes to the coast.

Well, that was fun! Our one trip to Lincoln City, in 2019, after our music event at the Gorge, and after a few days in Gig Harbor, we stayed next door at the Beachfront Manor❤. Hot tub on the deck! Was gorgeous. We have our floats! Love the "dig a hole for our calories."😅 Yeah, I've become a bit more "fluffy" this Winter 😂 Good lord. Cheers! 🥤

Oregon looks beautiful! I have never been there before, so I look forward to it seeing your video. The only strange thing is we are used to Florida, so the beach in cold is different than we are used to! Thanks for sharing all of this!
Hopefully one day our paths will cross. Yes we have stepped in and walked around our ocean but never swim in it. Every time we go to Florida we hit theme parks but we said we need to checkout a beach next time.

We talked about Hawaii and all her time on the beaches and in the ocean and working with animals. I could have spent all day with her! She was one of those souls!! She brought us peace!! Never stayed in the trailer at a casino might try that, my new year resolution was to buy bigger clothes, might have to change it after hearing y'all's 😂 putting Lincoln city on my map, that fish and chips looked delicious
Many casinos are free or really reasonably priced also once u gamble a little or eat and hang out they send u stuff for free RV stays it can be really nice if u wanna see a concert or show too. The fish was good !!
We really do need to plan to meet up at a campground. You kids basically do exactly what we do, roll into a town and find all the breweries, good eats and something artistic! Oh and side note, does Ron know he is Harry Shearer's voice twin? It's uncanny how much they sound alike.
LoL! Yes alot of people have commented on his voice sometimes just when we are in a store buying something. He has been told he should be on the radio alot. I think we messed up and maybe should have got him an agent and be retired by now! Damn!! Yes for sure let's stay in touch and plan a meet up keep us posted!! Thx for the support!!

Was there a firework show on New Year’s Eve? Where is the best place to watch it?
I am sorry to say I am not sure I know people were doing them. I would call chamber of commerce or information center to find out. We thought we would be dancing somewhere at Midnight so wasn't looking. I do know that a few hours north in Seaside Oregon every year so many people have campfires on the beach like a huge amount and then at midnight so many fires go off it is crazy!
