I decided to re-upload it for you, in case you haven't seen it yet
The first performance of the band (then not even Slipknot and performed without masks), 1995. They were then called "Meld". The song is Gently. On the percussion of Sean, you can see the Clown mask, which he will later wear to every concert.
Group composition:
Joey (drums), Paul (bass), Donnie Styles (guitar), Josh Brainard (guitar), Anders Colzefini (vocals), Sean (percussion).
anders sounds like a beast in this. Really nice screams imo.

Crazy to think that Slipknot's very first public show was a ProShot. Very rare for a band to get something like that.

@@filthyweebb This was shot by someone making a documentary, about the metal scene in Iowa. So I believe they weren't using a regular camcorder, when filming this gig.
I could be wrong, but, it doesn't make sense for a director - to shoot their movie with a normal camera.

Btw Sean was the demo producer Shawn is the percussionist/backup singer, Sean the demo producer did sing I think during production but not live shows, also Anders last name is spelt wrong, but it really doesn't matter since it's not his real last name, unless that's how you spelt it in a different country or town

Was this at the Safari Club when it was on University Ave in Des Moines? My wife was a student at Drake we lived in an apartment on the first floor our headboard was on the wall opposite the stage. There were 2 brick walls and about 20 ft between us and the stage, they were really loud. Never did go see them, wish I would have.

I’m confused on when Craig played guitar for the band since he isn’t even here
Craig joined slipknot in 1996
He replaced Donnie Steele and then mick Thomson replaced him. He wasn’t a guitarist for enough time to do anything significant on guitar
He did do (at least) one show partially on guitar tho, which can be seen when they did killers are quiet live
He was a main guitarist only pre-Slipknot, in I think 1992 in another band that I don't remember the name of. I think it's a band that Craig, Joey and (maybe) Paul formed. It's hard to find any more info of Craig playing guitar, it's hard to find any info about Craig at all unless you dig very deep.

So after looking into the bands early history a bit, this is their first show but they played under the name 'Meld'. It was November 1995, they had only formed two months before, and it was for some benefit show, hence why they got a pro shot

a shame because of people like you, all we get of the meld show is a minute long clip of a camera pointing at a tv instead of the full quality VHS rip, with all of the footage.

@@modifidious i am more than just frusturated with him, i am frustrated with people like you and knotchile who spread the clip around. the original full show in full HD (VHS HD) quality was very close to leaking. people like you ruined that for another 30 years.
@@ZzN2CzZ theknotchile has people who send him that stuff and I just go around trying to find footage to leak. You should be happy that now the 1 minute clip is out or you would've been stuck with the 15 second one.

Craig and josh were the first guitarists then they got mick and Craig moved to samples and keyboard josh stayed until I think Jim joined
@@Frenzii_z Dude, that’s not Craig. Donnie was the guitarist from 95-96, then he left and was replaced by Craig for a short while. After Mick joined, then that’s when Craig moved onto sampling. Also, despite the crap quality, you can clearly tell that’s not Craig.
