In this video, I give an update on my Sugar Dragon's recovery from excessive heat and sunburn damage. When I moved homes, I had to adjust and plan my new garden area. It took some time to adjust to the timing of the sun and where it shines, but figured out the solution and moved the sugar dragon to another spot and carefully watched it to make sure it made a full recovery. Hope it helps!

Cool to see how your Sugar Dragon recovered! Amazing! 🤩
It would be incredible to see how you manually pollinate the flowers with your “new method”.
I would love to see that! 😃

Hello sir. How are you plants doing with this cold weather we have been having? I live in the high desert in Newberry Springs. I have to bring my dragons inside around October with the Temps hit 60° . I used to wait until it dropped to 50° , but have learned that my golden Thai absolutely hates the cold as well as my others. I know our climates are apples to oranges , however I know it gets cold down there too.

Hi Richard. I have about 8 dragon plants on trellises. They are all in full sun by midday. I need to get the shade cloth. I would also have to find someone to put it up for me. Please help me save them. Thank you. I had a hard time saving them from the rain and cold last winter. Thank you.

Hey Richard, have you noticed any improvement in size of Sugar dragon when cross polinated? I ask because I remember you saying its a small fruit type but taste is very good.

Now that winter is coming it gets down to the 50's in La Mesa, Ca. At night. Should I cover the dragon fruit at night?

Hey rich, just curious where do you put them in winter time? Or you just let it stay outside and what protection you did?

Hey Richard, which varieties don't like too much sun?

Colour of shade cloth has nothing to do with UV the gap within the cloth is through which light goes inside and part which strikes the cloth thread gets absorbed... Also photosynthesis require light from visible spectrum not UV ... UV is on right side of visible spectrum which is not consumed by plant

    Hello Richard!
I just want you to ask how much does one pot of plants and the trellis weigh? :D

I actually don’t know. Never weighed them myself but they’re heavy

Quick question even though it's not related to the video. Why is my dragon fruit skinny even though it's in the sun, and is it ok that I've fertilized it even though it's about a foot and a half foot tall?

You need a greenhouse at minimum from north Georgia up. I'm in South ga just boght my first greenhouse for 50 bucks on Amazon. So far it's 20-30° warmer inside then outside Everytime I've checked it

I do not have any available at the moment. Try asking in my FB group, there's a handful of trusted sellers in there.

so all you did was change location to a shadier spot , not watering more until it gets greener ?
