I ordered both the dash mount and the console storage. It came next day from Amazon and fits perfectly. I don’t think it will fit FJ with manual transmission as the console is different. I have both a manual and automatic FJ.
Ah I didn't even think about the difference in the center console placement between each transmission. Good call! But hopefully everything is more convenient for you on your FJ now!
The best phone solution is actually just to open up the driver side give box and place your phone on the lip of the ridge. Let the lid rest on the top of your phone, it'll hold it in place just fine. It's like a built-in phone mount. ua-cam.com/video/tloyWXMlrZ0/v-deo.html

Haha yes I've done that for local trips and it works great. Off roading... Not so much 😅
