I have a question: is it advisable to begin to promote my second book, before my first is even published? Or is it better to wait until after my first one is published? Does that make sense? I would wait - just because it will be confusing for your readers. You could do some snippet teasers though - 'what I'm working on next' kind of thing. But yes, I'd focus on #1 atm.
Yes, lots of times. A good topic for a video - I'll add it to the list. In the UK, I used the Writer's and Artist's yearbook to research the best publishers to send it to. Try searching online for publishers which do your age range and genre. They will usually get back in touch within 3 months and give you a bit of feedback (or, hopefully, sign you on the spot!) Hope that helps.
Have you spoken about or have a video about quality of printing? I'm not sure I like the idea of a book made on a digital printer or color copier? I would rather have it printed on a press but I know they require you print a large amount of books. Just curious what you think and if you have have been happy with the quality of the final printed books? 🤮Sorry! I blah blah run-on and on!
I have mine digitally printed on really good paper, it makes a huge difference. In fact, it's hard to tell that it's not printed on a press. I definitely wouldn't print on a copier though.
