Great PodCast today ladies! Just a heads up with UTI's, when you get older, you won't have any symptoms except for mental issues/agitation/just not acting like yourselves. My mom had UTI when she was 70 and did not have any symptoms except for her behavior, it was a bad one for her and she had to be admitted and she did get violent from this infection. I didn't know that a UTI infection could affect people like this with no heads up. Just an FYI for the future.
Omgggg I too am a frequent flyer for utis and I’m telling youuu I can sense the absolute moment of inception everytime I get one as well! Everytime! Before a test will even become positive I KNOW. This had me dying 😂 poor girls! Sorry you’re part of the club.

I have experienced that - swollen, wheezing and hives all over my chest. Then it progressed to my throat closing. I had no allergies before this. Rushed to immediate care both times of throat closing and they had me immediately on intervenes pumped with steroid’s etc.
Did allergy testing and all negative. What I have discovered is I had major high stress overload prior and now my body reacts to over heating the same way. So frustrating to not know why indeed.

Listening because I saw you were talking about the cruise. If you go again, there is a dining room that is open from like 5:30-9:30 every night that has better food than the buffet. Not an extra charge restaurant and they serve 3 course meals. Anyway, cruise was awesome. Glad you had good experiences on it. 🖤

I had the same thing in 2015. A U.T.I spread to my kidneys and I was shocked because I had struggled with chronic UTI'S . The pain was excruciating after 5 days.

On cruises the restaurants will be better than the buffet for sure depending on the line and what package you get usually a few are included and some will extra $
UTI and pyelonephritis are caused by the same thing but the pyelonephritis is the more serious form, I never get UTI symptoms, I just get pyelonephritis and end up in hospital for 10 days.

The quality of cruise food depends on which cruise line and sometimes which ship class you're on
Giiiiiiirl....... I've had a kidney infection ONCE ...Hopefully never again. That shit was so uncomfortable.
It started with the back/side pain like crazy and then turned into horrible nausea and flu like symptoms..

Katie I was in the same Super Bowl weekend in Vegas had to go to the hospital. I had all the tests and an ultrasound and it came back a 7cm cyst torqued my ovary. It was right side pain and nausea. They said I had a UTi too. I’m having surgery to remove the cyst and ovary. Might be worth getting an ultrasound just to make sure it’s not more. I swore it was appendicitis. It can be quite serious.

I'm a UTI and kidney infection queen also! I can't take any percocet or vicodin because it makes me itch lol and they kind of put me on edge.
TIL itching is not normal on painkillers lol I definitely was agitated too but figured it was from pain!
@mnbotanicals yeah, some of us have those reactions to narcotics. During my hospital stays I've been given morphine and dilaudid, and then they send me home with tramadol. After one of my kidney surgeries they weren't able to get my pain under control and were giving me dilaudid, fentanyl and versed, until they finally just put me on a pain pump. The pain pump is what finally helped.
Katie, be leery of Brock. I don't trust him. He apparently doesn't like you. he cheered Rachel and Schwartz making out in the pool at his wedding. He told on you and Max. Like it was his job to tell ! You never got into his personal business. Maybe it's time someone looked into his pass ! He's sneaky and he has hidden agendas.
