So exhilarating to watch this level of skill and riding. Remy, despite being one of the best overall riders on the channel, always keeps it humble and real. Very much an inspiration for all who follow his channel. Maybe in another life I could at least keep him in sight.... 🙂
Remy not only show cases his skills when he rides places like this but getting to watch him film other Pro level riders like Dean, who know the trails well, is exceptional! You only know how difficult it is to follow that close, at that speed, when you see how fast they are actually going! Well done guys! 👍👍
When Dean said this was one of Stevie Smiths favorite trails i kept picturing him hitting those berms and huge features ! I don’t normally re-watch videos but ive watched this twice already and have downloaded it for future entertainment. My hats off to Dean and Remy for absolutely shredding Prevost! DH forever
DAM Dude!!!...Fooking Sick riding from both of you riders. The trails are some of the best fastest I've seen you do for a long time. Congrats on shred'n like a rocket on fire. Amazing!!...
Solid one boys! I have not progressed to these speeds yet, but would love to get this good at these trails. I'd love to ride them everyday as I live 10 minutes away, but as Rémy said, the stakes are high on these trails. And for those out there that have never ridden these trails; what's missing from the footage is the reality of how steep these trails are. For the ordinary human you will be riding down these trails with the brakes on and wondering how these guys can ride these trails this way! What looks like a small pot hole in the trail on camera, will seem more like a drop when you're their in person. Total respect to all the DH crew that ride this mountain at the speed it is intended! Maybe one day I will earn my own respect! 😜Fancy towing me into the Mr T road Gap Dean?
this place reminds me of windrock in Tennessee. the park gwin recently purchased. id definitely like to see you shred that park! this place looks insanely fast! definitely shoot some more here!
Yeah Rémy. It’s like the Star Wars movie going through the trees. Hauling a$$ homie yet in total control. I would have stacked within the first 25 seconds
Wow wow this is where a DH bike is at home and untouchable I think this video is up there with Remy trip to Quebec city Dean and Remi were fast but just imagine how fast Goldstone. would be going down these trails you need A 110 pit bike to keep up 😂😂 The highlight for me was at 16:19 at 20+ feet it’s not that big but it’s technical because of the sniper landing So hard to judge the landing And that jump line is a piece of art
still stoked that you signed on to Propain for 2 more years. at the time i purchased my Tyee, i didn't even know you were on the team.. kinda like finding a really cool painting and later realizing it's signed by Delacroix himself...
I'm blown away! Many years ago Mt Prevost was our local fave for quick, short day hikes with some good views and a decent workout climbing up there. I had no idea the area has transformed into such an epic MTB destination. Remy, have you ever ridden over at Mt Tzouhalem?
Such sick trails! It would be really cool if you did a tip video on riding ruts, esp hardpacked rain ruts that always wanna suck you in! That's how a lot of crashes happen around where I'm from. That and getting hooked up on the front wheel on steep jank.
squawmish à vancouver ouest c'est remplis de trails incroyables tout le long de la transcanadienne et je n'ai pas eu asser de trois semaines pour passer au travers et de rencontrer d'autres passionnés c'est magique
You know that feeling when someone says to you they mountain bike too, and you learn they ride the gravel rails to trails roads. That must be how Remi feels when I say I ride downhill bikes too. Dang……
Hi Remy, I feel like the fastest I've ever seen you ride was with Forrest Riesco in your video from 3 years back on the Sunshine Coast. How does the speed here compare to that ride? The end of your ride with Forrest is some of the fastest and most inspiring riding I've ever seen. Huge fan, thanks for all your videos and tips. I am using your recent front brake tip the past couple weeks here in Santa Cruz and it's super helpful. Thank you.
I really want a DH bike except where i live is more trail riding not really DH unless i head up the mountains and we dont really have good trail maintenance in mexico. Damn this was so fast makes me want to live in Canada again
Yes that's what the new algorithm and shorts do... few people have had that luck on their side but the subscribers you get from Shorts getting 100M views are not Mountain Bikers and do not watch long form video. It happened to several people i know. It ends up changing a lot for us, especially when chatting to brands.
I always carry a paint marker with me on new trials. It's easier to note a tree, root or rock than trying to remember multiple parts of a section. I used it as a trail builder and it just stuck. Mark a tree as a heads up and you'll remember the section after
Hey Remy, is your beautiful front mudguard also suitable for Öhlins forks?!? Can you tell me something about it?! Thank you and a big hug from Italy!!!
Looks sick. Does someone get planning permission or buy the land to make these lines or do they just make them, put their own signs up and spread the word.
It’s on local government (municipal) owned land. Almost all of these trails started as rogue-built trails, until there was a trail club that formed (Cowichan Trails) which advocated to upgrade the existing trails and sign them to be a MTB destination and training grounds for upcoming racers.
That was an awesome day shredding with you buddy, stoked you liked the Prevost downhill trails 😊. Hope everyone enjoys this episode 🤟🏼🍻
Thanks again. Need to make episode 2 at some point!
That would be awesome, still many trails we didn’t get to try.
You guys are amazing. That was epic watching. Can only imagine actually riding . Well done ❤
I think I can speak for everyone when I say Remy has the best MTB riding on UA-cam by far. Well done!
Oh thank you!
Best intro by far too.
100% agree with you
No, Seth Berm Peak. Then Yoann, then Remy
Bearm peak has great mtb content but Remy has great mtb riding. As for Yoann I have no experience with that UA-camer. Deff gonna look him up
So exhilarating to watch this level of skill and riding. Remy, despite being one of the best overall riders on the channel, always keeps it humble and real. Very much an inspiration for all who follow his channel. Maybe in another life I could at least keep him in sight.... 🙂
Hat's off to the trail builder!!🔥💥
Supersick trail.

You only know how difficult it is to follow that close, at that speed, when you see how fast they are actually going! Well done guys! 👍👍
26:31 shows the steepness a lot, when just a little pop gets you so far hahahah that's crazy and the trails looks so much fun!!
One of your best recent videos. Rage and legit trails = SICK!!!
one of my favorite riding vids in a long time. Prevost never disappoints
I love all your riding- but have really been enjoying your recent DH rides. More please!
Wow, following this dude was mega. So fast, but yet still with style. Love to watch rear wheel tracking the ground
This trail is so so so fast. Awesome video Remy. Watch out for those cars. 😊
Welcome to the cowichan valley! And these trails are sanctioned now! What a crazy place to ride
sick raw riding Remy.
Solid one boys! I have not progressed to these speeds yet, but would love to get this good at these trails. Absolutely I would man! And yes the steepness is always tough to gauge through the Gopro footage. Prevost is the real deal.
Right, you’ve inspired me and I’m going to start lapping Mr T more to bring up my speed. I gotta do it before I’m too old! 🤕 thanks man. 🤟🏼
this is amazing!! if I search mtb on youtube he is one of the 5 mtbers I watch! keep up the good work!!
Who are the other 4?
@@remymetailler Fabio wibmer, Sam pelgrim, jackson Goldstone, Jordan Boostmaster, Berm Peak and of course you! :)
What a treat! Really enjoyed the trackside footage at the end.
Dean seams like such a cool dude and he can ride thats for sure!
_Yeah buddy!_
Glad you enjoyed it!
There is something about the mountain biking at Prevost that is so captivating to watch, would definitely want to see more videos there!
Love the speed and trails in this! Haven't even finished the video yet, looking forward to watching the rest later!
Awesome, thank you!
You make jumps look so effortless!
this place reminds me of windrock in Tennessee. the park gwin recently purchased. id definitely like to see you shred that park! this place looks insanely fast! definitely shoot some more here!
Dean lookin sharp in the Akta wear, the knee pads are my fav.
nice video !
Thanks!

omg this was so sick..must be one of the best episodes..man..yeah buddy!!
Definitely go back, really enjoyed it.
I will!
Oh to possess even half of the talent of either of these pair!
Yeah Rémy. It’s like the Star Wars movie going through the trees. Hauling a$$ homie yet in total control. I would have stacked within the first 25 seconds

UNREAL!
So inspiring
Une dinguerie, bravo à tout les deux.
Insane riding, trails and landscape, must be awesome living there
Nicely done guys 🤟
still stoked that you signed on to Propain for 2 more years. at the time i purchased my Tyee, i didn't even know you were on the team.. kinda like finding a really cool painting and later realizing it's signed by Delacroix himself...
Seems like it would be a good idea for cars to sound their horn as they're approaching the trail intersections
Very cool video man! I am waiting than it will become warmer and than i will feel speed on my bike again!
Nuts ! Crazy to be that fast on that terrain !
That was sick af!! Was glued to the screen for the whole ride 🤯
I'm blown away! Many years ago Mt Prevost was our local fave for quick, short day hikes with some good views and a decent workout climbing up there. I had no idea the area has transformed into such an epic MTB destination. Remy, have you ever ridden over at Mt Tzouhalem?
It's very insane track! Thank you for content!
New video always makes my day better
100% I want to see u riding that. That looks like the andora of the pac nw! So steep!
Merci Remy pour toutes tes vidéos tu nous fais rêver et grâce a ton accent j’arrive enfin à comprendre l’anglais 😂
Sweet skills, simply the best 👍🏻
Absolutely shredding!
Super Riding. Remy au top!
Higher calling master, sick.

Superb riding Remy...hello from The Land Down Under
Hello there!
Top Rem'y
All the best to you and warm greetings from Germany.
Same to you!
Man you are the best rider like ever appreciate you man thank you
Amazing how these Bikes are built.
that speed on trails like that is just insane
Sick riding and sick DH trail. Yeeww!
Such sick trails! It would be really cool if you did a tip video on riding ruts, esp hardpacked rain ruts that always wanna suck you in! That's how a lot of crashes happen around where I'm from. That and getting hooked up on the front wheel on steep jank.
physical preparedness !!! = 200 % nice guys !!
really cool trails! Thx 4 sharing! :D
squawmish à vancouver ouest c'est remplis de trails incroyables tout le long de la transcanadienne et je n'ai pas eu asser de trois semaines pour passer au travers et de rencontrer d'autres passionnés c'est magique
When it looks that fast on a gopro with hypersmooth, in reality it is insanely fast.
That was insanely fast , having watched many of your videos, the trail speed is much faster , yea buddy 😅
Pretty intense love it 🎉
Epic video. Sheesh.
Wow, I need to ride there!
Everybody has their opinion on whatever it may be in life !! The best whatever is the best for eaxh person and not everybody else !!
I think this video captures just how gnarly Prevost is... Everything is fast, everything has consequences. Told you I'm afraid of it!
I hope someday I'm good enough to ride Prevost haha
Yup
You know that feeling when someone says to you they mountain bike too, and you learn they ride the gravel rails to trails roads.
That must be how Remi feels when I say I ride downhill bikes too.
Dang……
🚴 enjoyed the Video from 🏴🏴🤙🤙🚴
Heaven is a place on earth! And this is it!
If there only was a job for my specialization on Vancouver Island or in general BC I would sell all my belongings and move there next week..
Hi Remy, I feel like the fastest I've ever seen you ride was with Forrest Riesco in your video from 3 years back on the Sunshine Coast. How does the speed here compare to that ride? Hey Remy, it'd be sick to see you ride this DH trail on your eKano 2 CF. And do the jumpline too.
I'll ride at pretty similar speed for the first few laps.
I would love to see you riding with my favorite mtb-riders: Dale Stone, Dangerous Dave and VanCan.
Your Making me want a PROPAIN!!!! 🤣
Well if you do, please use my link!
Remy you land so soft.
It looks like straight up something from descenders
Pues ah quedat molt guapo la veritat el clio, ara si que es veu mes teu😉
I really want a DH bike except where i live is more trail riding not really DH unless i head up the mountains and we dont really have good trail maintenance in mexico. Damn this was so fast makes me want to live in Canada again
You should ride with Mark Matthews, you two have very similar riding style
Next week maybe:) We got very different riding style though
Interesting to see Mark Matthews just fly by Remy in terms of followers... Great vid

영상 보면서 많이 배웁니다.
대단해요 ^^
Никогда не было возможности так покатать, но мне чертовски нравится, кск он катается!
What kind of rack is that in the back of the Tacoma? I want one!
Homemade! 😅
I always carry a paint marker with me on new trials. It's easier to note a tree, root or rock than trying to remember multiple parts of a section. I used it as a trail builder and it just stuck. Mark a tree as a heads up and you'll remember the section after
Ahah
I N S A N E!! 🤐🤟🙌
👍
Hey Remy, is your beautiful front mudguard also suitable for Öhlins forks?!? Can you tell me something about it?! Thank you and a big hug from Italy!!!
what pedals do you run? also trails are banger right now🔥🔥🔥
So what if you went to California and found some trails there (near Santa Rosa) because I haven’t found anythjng
One day I'll go explore:)
34:34 you can see that you are a lot on back wheel ....is that good for control?
Do you have any advice for someone new to trail riding jumps?
where can I find the same bike racks as yours ???
It is call the Saris MHS 2 Bike!
👍👏🎉
Check out Windrock Bike Park
So fast it feels like they’ve increased the natural speed of this video….
Where did you say that was?
Mount Prevost, Duncan, on Vancouver Island
Thanks man
