Some people who request to join may ask to farm some resources from your world, but many people are also just bored and want to help you do stuff. Personally when I was at AR16 I just wanted to explore the world on my own time. But co-op is really great if you ever need help! (To the xiao main who helped me complete the chi of guyun quest, I am eternally grateful). I've also met a couple of really cool people and sometimes we just hangout in each others worlds and do stupid stuff together.
I love helpers so much! I'm AR 55, but I'm not confident that I'm strong enough or knowledgeable enough to help other people, but I would love to be a helper myself someday as well. Same, I was like just started playing the game for one month and I don't like bow characters that's why after I got Ganyu, I let her rot in my character archive for months, but after learning more about genshin, I really regret not building her earlier because she's so strong.
When I first got co-op someone immediately joined me and then asked if i want any help on quest or anything and let me tell you she is so nice i didn't even know about commissions then and she finished it all without me doing anything and now we're besties.
this video's edit was really really really entertaining! also, as someone who completed the dragonspine quest alone for (probably more than) 2 months, i found it exhilarating being able to help the newer players complete it. probably a reason i took a long time to complete it was that i suck at farming for artifacts as well as matching them with the characters, (I still do im just too lazy to research and analyze it lol)
even low ranked players nowadays say no no to random coops, guess the stigma of "I just want your resources" (which 90% of the time is still true) never leaves the playerbase

I was way too scared to accept any join request from strangers until like ar 50 but since a lot of my friends play genshin too, they just carried me through the entierty of Liyue after I reached ar16, they literally babysitted me to ensure that I survive because when I first started playing I was scared of literally anything 😭 Thanks to them I learnt what bosses and resin are 😅 (I only ran into he electro cube once on my own when I was like ar10, I was so traumatised that I refused to fight it until ar50 and now I kill it for fun as a revenge 😅) and now I'm way more addicted to the game than my friends are and carry them in return 😅

I managed to get to ar 57 in the span of like 6 months (whenever the first raiden banner started) without doing like half of the quests till ar54, to the people who aided me when my signature was like "Please help me explore inazuma (mainly the foggy area)" i
high ar people that help others are literal gods. I had so much trouble with like time challenges and shit and someone carried me through it and I was so amazed. Then I got to ar50 in like less than 2 months and started helping my low ar friends it feels amazing

I started playing genshin like 5 days ago and on my 3rd day a very nice hight lvl Ganyu player helped me get through the cold mountains. We had a lot of fun in the proces with some bugs and gliches too xD I really like genshin community
a few days in AR25 and I tried to solo that wolf thing, it took soooo long to deal 3/4 of its hp of dmg. And then it just goes full berserk bullet hell on me like wtf no way you could beat that alone.

Genshin has become very easy to level up your adventure rank, i was level 10 before i restarted in september, within 2 weeks i managed to get to like AR 30-35, by the end of the month i was already at 45
Nah cuz as someone who has only had the game in a couple weeks, when someone joins ur world for the 1th time, its so confusing cuz u dont know what to do or say💀but this girl helped me with exploring new places and stuff and Im literaly so gratefull, I stayed up all night with her. when I started playing Genshin, without knowing anything about how to build characters, the struggle was real around AR35... I'm AR55 now and I actually join low AR player's worlds to help them out because after a certain point you legit can't clear certain content without help and knowledge of what or how to prioritize your resources.
As a new player, i hardly ever accept help, mostly because I'm more focused on exploring since fighting enemies makes me very nervous but most people want to fight. I dont want to dissappoint or annoy anyone with my bad fighting skills lmao

high ar people that help others are literal gods. I had so much trouble with like time challenges and shit and someone carried me through it and I was so amazed. Then I got to ar50 in like less than 2 months and started helping my low ar friends it feels amazing
I love helping other lower AR people so much! I remember being helped when I was AR 16 and stuff - so I would love to try help them! And yes I am still friends with those who helped me :) I love you guys who help!

I actually experience this quite often. I was bored as an ar58 person, so i used to try visit someone else world but keep getting decline :v now i just co-op with my friends lol. most of my friendlist is people who i have helped with. it's nice to help them :)

I started playing genshin like 5 days ago and on my 3rd day a very nice hight lvl Ganyu player helped me get through the cold mountains. We had a lot of fun in the proces with some bugs and gliches too xD

Genshin has become very easy to level up your adventure rank, i was level 10 before i restarted in september, within 2 weeks i managed to get to like AR 30-35, by the end of the month i was already at 45

Nah cuz as someone who has only had the game in a couple weeks, when someone joins ur world for the 1th time, its so confusing cuz u dont know what to do or say💀but this girl helped me with exploring new places and stuff and Im literaly so gratefull, I stayed up all night with her. Its the best feeling when someone good wants to help beginners.

I'm at ar 56 and I have tried helping out some lower ar travelers and they have done some very questionable things🤔. It's like they are unpredictable children and I'm just helping and taking care of their bruises and wounds. 🤕

My best friend introduced me to this game and helped me all along the way whether it be explaining wishing, fighting bosses for ascension mats, exploring, building characters, farming artifacts, and completing world quests and I am so thankful for her and she's the best

when I started playing Genshin, without knowing anything about how to build characters, the struggle was real around AR35... I'm AR55 now and I actually join low AR player's worlds to help them out because after a certain point you legit can't clear certain content without help and knowledge of what or how to prioritize your resources.

As a new player, i hardly ever accept help, mostly because I'm more focused on exploring since fighting enemies makes me very nervous but most people want to fight. I dont want to dissappoint or annoy anyone with my bad fighting skills lmao
