City of Calgary needs to say no to funding for a new arena. That is a want, not a need. Mass transportation is a need for a modern city. The Flames ownership can pay if they want an arena. Take the funding away from a new arena a direct it to the green line.
Cancel Green Line. Drive more cars, burn more oil. Everyone blames mayor or Nenshi. Hire an outside consultant firm who UCP has connections too. Plan executed perfectly.
Outgoing premier, Danielle Smith and the UCP shouldn't be talking about wasting money, when the UCP have only carried on with the fiscal ineptitude and poor planning that the Alberta PCs did, ever since Peter Lougheed was no longer premier of Alberta. So far, the UCP have made well over $80 billion in very costly debacles and mistakes.
BTW Dwayne, thanks to "FRIENDS" in the NDP. Grande Cache was turned into a Ghost Town overnight, Alberta went from Energy Producer to Energy Dependant. And almost ruined in just 4 YEARS thanks to Rachel Notley. And people like YOU want them BACK??

I think this project is so expensive that it would be cheaper to move people around by taxi paid by the city!! It is better to use buses in this area.
