Just rewatched this video in preparation for playing this game tonight on TTS. Extremely well done and laid out. And I was able to send it to everyone so that they could watch the segment on the merchant they will reach be playing. Now, whether or not they actually watch it, who knows 😂 But either way, I'm now prepped and ready to explain 👍

I'm actually intrigued by the Oracle and Innkeeper. With all this talk about asymmetry and how difficult it would teach all the different characters, I don't see this as overly complex as games such as Root or Vast. (those are the ones that come to mind) At any rate thanks for describing each character. Each of their styles made sense. This will be one of my most highly anticipated game of next coupled with Dice Throne adventures, and Spirit Island expansion.
At 10:37 there has been a rule change. On Page 10, step #3 it now says you can place a townsfolk onto a spot that already had a card there and you return that townsfolk to the bottom of the deck.

Hi Stella & Tarrant, just finished watching this video which was on my watchlist for quite a while. I have to say, FANTASTIC EXPLANATION! One of the best how to play video I've watched, systematic concise and very clear. Definitely on par with Rodney Smith which is the best how to play teacher around. I've bought the all in pledge plus the Dragon Breeder add on & can't wait to play this game. Fascinating mechanics & the level of asymetric balancing is quite good too, without being too overbearing as Root do. I can see my casual gamers group getting into this. Btw, there are a couple of things I would like to ask which is regarding the Gems, I saw a ruby icon on the main board & noticed at the KS page also mentioning gems token. What are those for? Another thing is maybe you can get around to making a video explaining the mini expansions available? Lastly...you have earned my Like & Subscribe, good sir & madam 😁👍🏼

Thanks for the awesomely clear video, it is really helpful when we don't have the components apart from the rulebooks (which is awesome to have, but you know, visual aids help) ^^ When describing the innkeeper part, i hoped i would find an answer that currenly confuses me, buuut nope, you didn't mention it either (don't worry, you didn't screw up) : As an action, the innkeeper can produce drinks, which are described in the rulebook as "small goods". But what do we do with those? Considering they are goods, i feel like they are meant to be sold, but i'd rather be sure than just assume :p Any dev info you might have regarding that? As i said, thanks for the awesome video, apart from this one point, it was cristal clear! Edit : liked & subscribed, i'll definitely check more of your work

since each person has completely different setup, rules, objectives,would be difficult to play unless someone knew it well. Be hard to get on the table with my novice group.
Hi Matthew, hmm that might be tricky yes. Once you know the rules tho, it's not very hard for each mechanics/character you use. Maybe if your friends can each choose a character, with mechanics that they feel familiar with? Or even watch this video before hand- sounds advertising, but it work for our gaming group, so only if it helps :). Thanks for visiting!

We were the same at the start. We weren't sure at the start, but game is not complex, turn goes pretty quick usually and not fiddly, love it!
