I grew up fishing Roosevelt. The Kokanee were planted 1999-2000 ish. they once were natural. But the ones in there now are planters. I remember catching the planted Salmon. The Redband rule wasnt around, nor was the hatchery fin clip. But the trout net pens were always full and best to fish around.

Lol, all this for some stocked trout. I can sit on the bank and relax and catch trout all day with a fraction of the effort.
