Hey y'all! We're Chris + Sara (or as you know us, Let’s Be Us), a husband and wife digital nomad travel duo currently working and traveling full time with our pup, Kramer. I would.. I live in this area... Campos do Jordão is a city very close to where you are now, 50km, you could visit it!😉 you'll love it!
I don't know how they found this cabin, but I want to meet it.
This cabin looks great. If you are still close to that area I would cross the border into the state of Minas Gerais and visit Monte Verde. It's a really nice place in the mountains as well but a bit more touristic.

In southeastern Brazil we have the less known Atlantic rainforest, which is different from the Amazon. I don't know if you guys notice that big pine looking tree behind the house. that's an araucaria angustifolia tree which is a living fossil from the Triassic period of Earth's history and only exist in southern Brazil.
Whoa!!! That’s so cool!!! We did notice how beautiful and crazy of a tree it is, but we had no idea the history behind it. Brazil is truly incredible. I wish we could stay for longer and explore more of this country!

Corrigindo, a Araucária existe no Sul e Sudeste e há até em alguns no centro oeste, está mais ligada a altura do local, mas claro ela é bem comum no Sul. Mas também bem comum nos pontos mais altos da Serra da Mantiqueira, uma extensão de montanha que divide o Estado de São Paulo e Minas Gerais.

And you can believe that Brazil has much more to discover.
People tend to forget Brazil is bigger than continental USA and as diverse as it. Its kind of funny to see people surprised about Brazilian diversity, when Brazil is actually one of the most diverse countries in the World. People see the green forests and think all of it is the Amazon lol. Brazil has Savannahs, Equatorial Forests, Tropical forests (which are not the same), sands, mountains, pines, fall trees, extremely hot places and extremely cold places... Just like it would be for a country bigger than the Entire Europe itself.
I have an apartment 40 minutes from this place. Indeed, the nature is very beautiful there.
I’ll be honest. I watch your videos mainly because of how cute your family is , but that cabin’s view stole show. :) very very cool

Nice, im Glad you found this beautiful place in Brazil, unfortunately most foreigners think that Brazil is just the amazon and rio de janeiro, sometimes Sao Paulo, Salvador or Fortaleza, do not even think about the possibility of there being other biomes and labdscapes in a gigantic country like Brazil (the amazon is only in the north of the country), for example the forests in the southeastern part of the country where rio de janeiro is located are called Atlantic Rainforest, anyways, I hope you enjoy your stay in Brazil, I recommend places to Discover the geographical and cultural diversity of this country like: Buzios, Ouro Preto, Chapada diamantina, Chapada dos Veadeiros, Capítolio, The Pantanal, Florianopolis, Gramado and Canela, Balneario Camboriu, Blumenau, Praia da Pipa, Campos do Jordão, Brotas, Curitiba, Vitória, Lencois Maranhenses, etc and etc
We loved our time here, thank you so much for the recommendations we will have to look into those places!

It's good to hear that people are getting know better about Brazil more than Rio and São Paulo cities. Actually in Brazil there are no mountains, those are actually hills. The highest earth formation found in Brazil are the peaks. You guys should visit Monte Verde in Brazil and Escarpa dos lagos.

I love renting incredible Airbnbs around Brazil. There are many awesome cabins in the interior of SP. Its worth the visit... weve just returned from a dome place in Ibiuna and it was amazing 🥰

Seeing how surprised you were with the temperature made me curious to see you visiting the south, especially Gramado and Canela, it’s really a must see place
it was 35F (3C) just the other day here in the south of Brazil, just 10 days after summer ended.
there is another travel vlog couple that rented a similar type of cabin around the border of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul state.
avoid doing that near the winter as i don't think most people come to Brazil because they want to feel cold
suggestion: southern brazil, cold, wine, italians, germans, mountains.
I recommend the " Lençois Maranhenses", in the Maranhão state, here in Brazil, its one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Brazil is really special! beautiful landscapes, hospitable and friendly people, incredible nature, tasty food, a diverse people of different colors and cultures throughout the country, happy, a tropical climate to intense cold with several different climates and biomes. All this is very understandable due to the size of the country, Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world and the third largest in the Americas, behind only Canada and the USA, and the largest country in Latin America and South America, Brazil is the giant in South America. 🇧🇷🇧🇷❤❤

@@chrisandsara brazil is spectacular i recommend visiting the south of brazil to have a tense winter weather especially in june when the temperature fluctuates a lot because it is the coldest region of the country with snow.

Sao Paulo is so big as it's own capital city (where I was born and live), I love my State, we have so many incredible cities inside here, beaches, the capital (one of the biggest cities in the whole world and the biggest in America), the countryside, and we have easy access to Rio, Minas Gerais... Come back more time and enjoy other cities, Brazil will be forever open for truly traveler lovers ♥
We would love to come back to Brazil someday and explore more of it!
I had never heard of this town São Bento do Sapucaí, but nice to know, what an amazing airbnb! It’s very near the state of Minas Gerais, that has some great places to visit as well, some historic cities that I reccomend. I was looking on google maps, Campos do Jordão is close too, a beautiful and charming european style town in the mountains.
Thank you so much for these suggestions! We briefly got to visit Minos Gerais and LOVED it! Definitely one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. Wish we could have stayed longer. Guess we’ll just have to visit Brazil again… 🙃

Whilst going on a pilgrimage between Itajubá-MG and Aparecida-SP I walked past an almost identical cabin around the municipalities of Wenceslau Braz-MG, Campos do Jordão-SP and Guaratinguetá-SP. A very beautiful and remote place in the Mantiqueira Hills, quite close to my hometown.
EDIT: Oh, OK, so this cabin of yours was in São Bento do Sapucaí-SP, right by my hometown. It did really feel like home. Not the one I walked past, though.

I grew up in a small town in the atlantic rainforrest area, up in the mountains and it was so cold as well, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. I don't think many foreign people know of theses places, bc the postcard is always Rio (the city), São Paulo and the Amazon, but Brazil is a continental country with so much to be seen! It's a beautiful place with many different things to offer that most people don't know in all of the 26 states and the Federal District. I'm really thankful for your video promoting this different side of my home, even if just a little bit! I hope you can come back in future to explore a little bit more. :)

I always think about it. People know about beaches, Amazon, but they don't know about mountains in Brazil. I prefer mountains to beaches. If you can, go to Pedra Azul, in Domingos Martins.
The place really is worth visiting.
I just love your videos and I love Kramer ♡♡♡ I'm so glad you were near my town (São José dos Campos). I like RJ but prefer SP. Hope you can visit the beach of Toque-Toque Grande some day. Airbnb 's got a cabin about 100m from the beach. It's pet friendly and the sunset is amazing.♡♡♡

I recommend you to watch some videos about interesting places in Brazil, you'd be surprised.
*If you guys decide going towards the southern part of Brazil...you could start visiting Balneário Camboriú...and from there continue on towards some mountainous areas...full of beautiful cabin accommodations and great food...you would get even more surprised...trust me...(Brazil is a country yet to be discovered...)*
