I would like to thank you for your effort to share tutorials about lumafusion.
I have few questions and hope you could answer
1. Can this be edited all at once instead of saving over and over?
2. After creating multiple videos, what is the best way to do a clean up, despite having 256 GB ipad pro. I dont like to have my space filled with clutter.
3. This comes to my mind, How does lumafusion know what color (pink, green, or blue) I want to edit ??
1. You can edit it without a mask. If you use horizontal or vertical strips instead of not straight ones -> looks also very nice and you don’t need a intermediate export
2. Only works manually. Delete the files in your library
3. you have to select the Color in the keyed settings
Burair Al Lawati number 2. Continues to be a challenge for me too. I’m struggling to find a good solution for iPad file organization. My current preference is to use an app called “Documents” by Readdle to import assets and move them to a google drive folder. Then I use LumaFusion’s import function to pull from google drive. Unfortunately that doesn’t solve the organization of all of the LumaFusion projects. But it helps! I’m hoping the new iPad os will provide a backend file manager that app developers can leverage to give us a better interface for file management and workflow in general.
2. My workflow consists of using WD wireless pro and exporting whole project to it after finish editing in Luma.

I use an app called pixel picker where it can read the exact color you really wanna use and use the code in the lumafusion to get what you want

Hey, thanks man! That’s an amazing tutorial. Made me understand LumaFusion much more. Just watching the movie makes you think it‘s very easy, but if you are new to LumaFusion, it’s not. Plus I am editing on IPhone X which required a lot of patience.

I’m getting distortion/bleeding on the white bars when I add the video clip to the sliding intro, any ideas?

Thanks a lot for the tut! I followed the steps and it worked fine, with one exception: The first and second clip switch colors dramatically when applying the pink screen key. How do I avoid it? Thanks in advance.
That is strange. I would try to play around wth the keying setting or try different colors in generall, because if you have blue sky in the Video you want to get into the mask, you shouldnt use a bluescreen. The colors might be to similar.

This is really interesting and helpful...... but when I add my video clip everything goes a bit weird..... back to front, poor image..... maybe I need to lower the rate from the suggested 60fps? It seems my IPad just isn’t coping with this. A bit more time/info on this would have been useful, but thanks for the great input. 👍🏼

This vid is so cool, the only problem I seem to be having, is bleeding of the backing colour pixels into the vid from the one edge of the white line, I’ve tried making the white lines thicker and it still seems to do it, thanks for the vid tho 👍🏻
Then your keyer Settings are not accurate enough. Try tweaking them😊

Don’t know if this is old news but luma fusion has a feature for shapes edge colour so it completely bypasses the need to make borders like you have done here as a separate shape. Again I’m new to this program so pls let me know if this is obvious or an update after this video was put out. Thanks again, great content!
I don’t know the feature you are meaning. Where to find it? Or do you mean a shape in general? One square shape zoomed in, so you will only see two bars aren’t as easy to handle as two separate bars, especially if you want to add motion.

It’s simply the keying settings. Just play with them.

Hi, I really need an advice, I’m an editor, and I’m starting to make my edits more advanced so I’m kinda in the middle, should I buy lumafusion or after effects? I’m so confused which one will be better for me? Cuz this edits are just for instagram fan acc, I want transitions, effects, sound effects, adding multiple videos together. Lots of popular editors that I know in instagram use after effects, but after your videos I’m now thinking about lumafusion! I really need help( and when I search for lumafusion edits, there is none, it’s mostly alight motion, video star, or after effects
That’s actually not really comparable. After effects is not a video editing software, but a software for effects and animations. So if your focus is on animations, use after effects. But keep in mind that after effects costs you 25$ every month.

great video. tried following along with your video but i got to the creating green screen on first video, and it placed the video on the center color. I had the timeline on the first color when i went into color effects module. any thoughts on what i may have done wrong. thanks

When I add the second blue screen key it affects my first green screen video by removing all the blue 😢

Moin moin, bis zu einem bestimmten Punkt im Video bin ich noch mit gekommen aber dann war mein Englisch doch nicht mehr so toll. Machst du eigentlich alle Videos die du auf Englisch gedreht hast auch noch auf Deutsch oder ist dieser Kanal mehr für englische Kundschaft😜
Noch eine Frage, in dem linken Fenster wo die Clips sind die man sich reinzieht sind bei mir ständig alle Clips die ich bis jetzt bearbeitet habe auch wenn ich ein neues Projekt öffne wie kann man das vermeiden? Lg Frank
Das kommt auch noch auf deutsch. Dauert aber noch etwas. Erstmal hab ich Urlaub 😉 das Fenster zeigt lediglich die Dateien in deiner Photos App, wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe was du meinst. Wenn du für ein Projekt nur bestimmte Dateien sehen willst, dann musst du in der Photos App einen Ordner/Album anlegen. Aber gutes Problem. Vielleicht mach ich da ein Video drüber :)

When I am about to do “green screen” for the 3rd slide it makes the first 2 video slides with black marks, any suggestions???

The green video (saved) works perfectly! When I move to add the blue video it distorts over the green video. I’ve noticed when I attempt to ‘frame & fit’ it only moves my green video and doesn’t allow me to alter my blue video. I’m wearing blue in all footage and read that was someone else’s problem. What exactly do I do to fix this?
I feel confident how I made the mask as it works perfectly. I was considering purchasing your ‘ultimate bundle’ but not sure I would run into similar set-backs. Any help? Please 🙏!
The problem is of course that you are wearing a blue shirt. Then try to change the blue layer to another Color. That’s the easiest solution.
To use it without problems, you have to understand how keyer are working. There are lots of good articles in the internet.

Touch n Edit I’ve tried both a red layer and white layer (in place of the blue) followed by playing around with the chroma keyer settings. The picture is clear but I get a (red or white) layer line near the edges. If I change the settings to reduce the line the video gets distorted. I’ve been looking into articles and videos but no luck in finding the exact solution to remedy this problem. I very much appreciated your prior response.

help if possible ? so I followed the steps perfectly but I came to A brick wall . the chroma keys does not have the green screen key in the new update .

You have to render after every step

@@alexle7964 After you applied the first Chroma Key (Green) you have to save the video clip and then start again with the new clip. Then apply the next Chroma Key (Blue) and save the video again.
Touch n Edit yes I did that. The first one using the key for green and save. The next one were save as well. I went into to playback the first clip were no green just video and pink afterward, the second clip were showing green from the start of the clip and at the other end were showing the video.

Settings are way different on mobile I thinks cus is a upgrade, can you make videos on mobile?
