Recently, I have been in touch with a consultant based in Adelaide, Australia, who claims to be an authorized recruiter for several approved LIMA jobs. However, this individual is demanding CAD 38,000 for processing fees from individuals who are interested in these jobs.
Several individuals have already paid this consultant CAD 38,000 to obtain work permits with LIMA-approved employers. This raises concerns about the integrity of the program and the potential for exploitation of vulnerable individuals seeking employment opportunities in Canada.
It is disappointing to see that while the Canadian government is working to bring employees to Canada through the LIMA program, there are individuals using it as a means of making money dishonestly. Paying CAD 38,000 for entry-level jobs in Canada is not a reasonable expectation for anyone seeking a better future.

Why would anyone pay CAD38k to go and work in Canada? If you have that amount in your home country, why not stay back and do something meaningful with your life in your comfort zone.
Migration agency in China will charge at least CAD115,000 (600,000+RMB) to obtain work permits with LIMA-approved employers, and lots of families go for it
Job Bank does have jobs for international people. They are not always reserved. Otherwise, why would they have the "People outside Canada" tab in the Job Bank to apply, if only "reserved" jobs were supposed to be there?!
Sometimes they are reserved, if there is a temporary foreign worker working for them already. But this is not the case EVERY single time.
Job bank and LinkedIn are good resources. Also try participating in International Recruitment Events from New Brunswick and PEI.

What she meant is that most of the job offers posted have already a selected candidate, but they still have to post the job for legal purposes

She made it clear that they are not a job agency and that they don't search jobs for their clients. Their company is specialized in immigration.
My husvnd is open work permit but his employer apply him a LMIA. As per his employer, it was already approved. He did not get any copy of approved LMIA. Is there any way that we can get it aside from his employer? So we can verify His employer said they after the LMIA was approve, they apply him for PR.

Wow. So the job bank website is completely worthless! There is a Canadian immigration consultant who told me a few days ago that it's the best way to get a job from outside Canada. I was highly skeptical and now this video confirms my suspicions. This is beyond outrageous.

No ! Your that consultant (whom you consulted) is absolutely correct. Job Bank does have jobs for international people. They are not always reserved. Otherwise, why would they have the "People outside Canada" tab in the Job Bank to apply, if only "reserved" jobs were supposed to be there?!

@@trnnbaiss1175 Thanks for sharing this. The problem is, the consultant didn't even mention that many of the jobs are reserved. She painted a rosy picture for me and took my money! Anyway, do you know of a way to distinguish between reserved and non-reserved jobs on the job bank?
The recruitment events are a great idea! Are they always in-person or they can happen virtually/online? Thanks for sharing. I tried LinkedIn and unfortunately had no luck after 500 applications (mainly for jobs in EU). Not even an interview.

If a person uses a +LMIA to apply for permanent residency, moves to Ca etc. how long does the worker need to work with that company who got the LMIA, gave the job etc. before the worker can work elsewhere? Does the permanent residency still apply?
Hello, you need to have a letter stating that the employment is valid for at least one year after you obtain permanent residency. With this said, you do not actually have to stay in the role once you have PR.

No dude, without advertisement no employer can hire a foreigner. The purpose of advertisement is to declare that the employer couldn't find any local employee and he is compelled to hire a foreigner.
