City of Evil from start to finish is an absolute masterpiece 👌🏽 As a drummer I am constantly blown away by The Rev's drumming even after all these years.
Goosbumps everytime I hear this song. I over over play in many times. The violin blended w melody the harmony, and the lyrics are so meaningfull. Masterpiece epic. Love #a7x since I was teenager #foREVer

They really need to break this one out in shows more often. I can really see it being o e of the those songs that the crowd sings the strength of the world part while shadows sings the in between lines. Almost like their own version of seek and destroy in Metallica shows. Pretty sure I've read interviews though where the band says they think the chorus is weak though so don't think they care for it to much

Think you are right about the western intro. He named the people who killed his family as “outlaws”. Few times but in western terms that word is used nowadays. I think this is supposed to be set in old America.
