    Honestly, Skid Row is the band that definitely deserved WAY more hype than they ever actually got back then. If it wasn’t for me singing along to Seb in my bedroom aged 4 in the early 90’s I’d not be able to hit the high notes I can sing now, cheers Sebastian, you’re a legend.

      he's a child growing older. he is very, very immature and i totally respect how Rachel, Scotti and Snake refuse to share the stage w/Bach again. those guys

    • @juliegogola4647
      @juliegogola4647 Рік тому +5

      Well, my brother has just given me the newest CD by "Skid Row", and Sabastian Bach is NOT on this CD. SO, of course, I was MEGA disappointed by that fact, and, I actually refused to even listen to it, BUT, I am kinda THINKING that since my little bro gave it to me, that MAYBE I should "give it a listen".
      I have NOT YET listened to it, BUT, I will eventually. Snake and Rachel were major players in the creative side of the band, AND, Scotty is a major part of the "WOW FACTOR" of the bands "live show", and SCOTTY kicks MAJOR ass on guitar, and the DRUMMER does a great job and he is CUTE too.
      SO, I WILL SAY that Sabastian BACH WAS a HUGE part of Skid Rows success, and, I really have NO IDEA WHY he ever left Skid Row, BUT, I do DOUBT that the guys in the band were just JEALOUS of him. It REALLY seemed like the guys in the band were quite comfortable with their positions in the band.
      Perhaps I have missed something though?

    • @Nisie23
      @Nisie23 Рік тому +20

      @Julie Gogola Yes, you have. They were definitely jealous of Sebastian. Rachel said in an interview that Skid Row was more than just Sebastian. He was especially jealous when Rolling Stone put Sebastian only on the cover. Read other articles too, saying the same, that jealousy was evident. Jealous of all the attention he got from the fans, females, especially and the media. They even separated from Sebastian on tour and made Sebastian get his own tour bus, separate from the rest of the band. For the record Sebastian didn't leave, he was kicked out. Anyway, Skid Row is not Skid Row without Sebastian. That's just a "cover band singer" signing Sebastian's parts (badly) with the rest of them. This isn't Skid Row and will never be.

      what you don't understand is Scotti, Rachel and Snake value 'sanity' over success, wealth and a reunion w/Sebastian.
      put this into perspective: Sebastian ruined being in a band so much that those guys refuse to share the stage with him again. a person would have to do significant amount of damage to make those guys feel how they do. i respect Scott, Rachel and Snake for sticking to their guns. Cannot be hard but if that makes them happy, more power to them.

      Skid Row is not relevant today really. Bach is. He has been more relevant than them since the split. Van Halen was more relevant than Roth was after that split. Nice hip huggers Sebastian, great voice like Layne Staley. He can scream his head off, growl or do a soft ballad. Skid Row was very under rated.

    • @geoffcarron2788
      @geoffcarron2788 8 років тому +9

      Very true, he can still pull it off now . And to think Sebastian played on Broadway in a production of Jekyll and Hyde! ! The man has talent.

    • @demonmom1960
      @demonmom1960 8 років тому +5

      Yeah, that's a real trip going from Broadway to an 80s hairband. One song you're screaming your head off the next you're doing a ballad and have females, and maybe a few "funny" males (lol) melting all over. And he still has a strong voice, hasn't lost a step.

      like layne staley? I dont agree with that comparison. Layne had some real sincere, passionate soul and he didnt look like a woman. Layne had a way more awesome voice.

    Seen this 91 tour, w GnR set (stood)front center stage 4th row...
    Of all my concerts, late 70's all the 80's, every "world of rock concerts" in Cleveland. All the Outdoor weekend concerts at Legend Valley. This concert tour in 1991 was by far the best concert of my life.
    Just home after a 7 year unplanned, never wanted vacation away from life itself. Both these bands came about, my number one, who stood strong with me thru it all, got the best seats available day one,at all cost.
    9 days out home and free for the show. show of a lifetime.
    Sabathin pointed me out, laughing from knowing i was blowed away from the go, fresh and clean free, and pumped, skidrow opened it up for real. Then GnR, labled the most dangerous band in the world, rocked the house, over two hours loud as it can be, while acknowledging the recent complaints of city officials(Grove City, Ohio)@ Beulah Park Jockey Club. They had complaints 3 miles out into the suburbs,..
    Axle Rose was straight crazy, rocked it out, with an attitude.
    The rest is history...

    Thank God for this pro shot video. I saw Skid Row with Guns N' Roses exactly one month before this at the Inglewood Forum. Both bands were phenomenal light years beyond what can be described in the comment section of a You Tube video. What sucks though is that Izzy was backstage here and knew he was done.

    He is the original metal head outside Halford & Ozzy for the simple reason he and skid row made the most awesome, true grit skid row music possible when easily Bach could have sold himself out to the modeling business or hollywood with his attractive looks. Instead he turned himself out and did the total opposite and became a true grit never changing skynard tabacoo chewing Free bird. His hair and attitude on stage cannot be duplicated. Pure metal head legend indeed. You can feel his heart!

    Dave and Scott and Bolan still writing some killer tunes.... SKID ROW guitarist Dave "Snake" Sabo confirmed to Paul Anthony of Planet Rock that the band is putting the finishing touches on the final chapter of the "United World Rebellion" trilogy, which will tentatively be released in 2020. The disc is being tracked at a Nashville, Tennessee studio with producer Michael Wagener, who also helmed the group's 1989 self-titled debut and 1991's "Slave To The Grind".
