Before adding the bio load, my nitrates dropped below 5 and my LPS corals became unhappy. Adding the corals and fish brought it up a bit and now everything looks great
The chaeto really works. I bought a used system and the nitrates were really high, 50+, even with a good skimmer. I Installed chaeto and it dropped to 7-12 in two weeks. I’ve added loads more coral and fish and, it runs 10-12 even with a heavier bio load. Highly recommend it!
Funny, since doing my chaeto, my corals do better WITHOUT water changed. In fact, when I do them, they look really unhappy. I haven’t done a WC in almost 4 months, my parameters look great and the corals look happier than ever
I’m with home boy, music is a little loud but definitely a nice addition I’d turn it down 50% and it’d be perfect, beautiful tank first video and I’m a fan
Lol it’s almost funny what people Nitpick about. After becoming a content creator you really get to see that you really can’t make everyone happy but that’s ok. Lol because we all human and different. Thanks for watching though.

Yeah, it does. a lot of people think you can't live off a zero-water change but I think you can as long as you are taking care of your parameters.

Amazing tank what's your light setting for the viparspectra
80/20 blue/white thanks 🙏🏾
How much do you think you have into that all together.
Do you quarantine?
Yeah she quarantines everything 💯
What brand tank?
I think the white clown fish is called a frostbite clown fish
Thanks, I think so too.
A no water-change systems would be nice, though the stock list i have planned would make that rather difficult
So they are doing the Moonshiners technique I will bring them back on for for interview that goes over how to achieve this technique one day
@@randomreefer no amount of dosing can save you from nitrates
@@Reefkeepers_Archive they have really good nitrate export using chaeto and a skimmer. It possible lol 😂 it just a high start up cost
@@randomreefer True, it would be a good end goal, though those two triggerfish I'm picking up in a few months are going to make that difficult 😅
@@Reefkeepers_Archive Aw yeah they like to eat lol 😂
That Memphis accent is crazy lol
Close but we are Arkansas lol 😂
@@randomreeferwoah. I was way off 😂 they sound very similar though
@@MrAntihero1001 😂😂😂
Do you know the dimensions of her tank? Amazing aquascape by the way.
No but i will ask and let you know. Thanks for tuning in
Thank you! Much appreciated!
72 x 48 x 24
@randomblackreefer 48 deep wow!!! I knew front to back looked huge, but now that that I'm looking at it , it doesn't seem like it would be 48.
24 deep@@jordantee2383
Whatever I don't do water changes. Nothing good comes out of it.
This is a method that is called moonshiners method. In this method you have to dose everything that is missing from your water consistently
No worries Arizona we referring to my own tank
Excuse typos, were saying no worries was only referring to my own aquarium without water changes I would be doomed
Yeah i would be too lol
So so so man enough with the so
