This took me simply ages - I never thought of using the steel plate - I just used the poles that were in the room with the targets which made the ball much harder to hit. Your way is better. Thanks!

Ages indeed...I didn't encounter spikes yet when I got here, had no idea what to do. After more time went by than I care to admit, I finally accepted defeat and googled what to do with spikes...good times lol
