Really nice information , all over internet it is recommended to take a guide , i am also planning to hike this in Nov mid 2024 ,After seeing this i Think i can do it
Roel E in the summer months I heard there is a lot of people attempting the hike. But I did it right before summer. Maybe that’s why it was relatively quiet :)
Thanks for the info! I plan on doing this hike in July, but looping around the other side of the lake for a 3 day trip. Any insight on the condition of the trail on the southern side? Great channel by the way. Subscribed.
I didn’t use any snow spikes. I don’t think it is necessary as the conditions aren’t that extreme. But then again, it’s good to be prepared for any weather. There are no camping restrictions so I camp literally next to the iconic spot. Hope this helps!
Apple Joy Viernes nope you won’t need a guide but they do recommend you have one for safety. I did it when there was snow on the trail and I did feel quite safe haha. Plus there are other groups with guides and I’m sure they will offer assistance if you need any. 😂

I am amazed about how quiet is was, so few people doing this?

Enjoyed your video! Any idea how cold it gets overnight while you camped?
Thanks! :) I'm pretty sure it was below 5 degrees haha. Bring many layers and a sleeping bag
Hi, I am planning to go this 30th May I am wondering if you brought any snow spikes with you and where do you set up your camp?
