As long as they’re raised in a domesticated environment. We literally have wolf dog breeds & they’re less aggressive than a pitbull can be. Every kind of animal was wild at first. Literally every single one. Smaller animals raised in captivity are safe to keep. Bigger animals like chimpanzees are dangerous when they reach puberty.

Racoons make wonderful pets actually, very sweet, playful, affectionate, and smart ass hell. I love their little hands. I fed a family of them every night, there precious!!
I have to say, he warmed up to it as soon as he knew it wasn't a wild racoon. He was likely a little worried about it being agressive or having some kind of disease haha
best pet I ever had growing up was my raccoon Fonzie. He was my buddy. Someone found him on the roadside next to his mom, who had been hit by a car, so they gave him to my grandparents to take care of him.
I had a couple growing up! They are the sweetest little things!! Thelma and Louise were the names of mine! Louise was blind in one eye and Thelma was a little 👀👀 haha but my dad rescued them when he was helping the city cut down trees to put in a road and the mom abandoned them :(
