Hello So grateful for your UA-cam Videos. Starting my 3rd DCC conversion i needed some tips for my 1st Decoder Buddy Install. Excellent Example Here. QUESTIONS: 1) What Diameter Soldering wire are you using to be so perfectly spot on solder? 2) What type of Flux applicator are you using?

.o15" diameter solder. The flux applicator came with the bottle of Kester 186 flux. I don't have a specific # for it.
Does the factory 8 pin connection that is pre wired from the factory not directly plug into the decoder buddy?
No. The Decoder Buddy is used to replace the factory board.
what decoder did u unstall on the decoder buddy?
ESU 58419 LokSound V5.0
This doesn't look to be worth the trouble of installing it..... I just bought 3 of these
