During the dink I find keeping that dominant elbow tucked in fairly close to the body (brushing my stomach) helps keep things very stable and consistent, just my two cents 🙂, awesome discussion, thanks again! (And your previous videos about gripping tighter with the dominant hand on drives totally worked for me, my opponents curse you!)
Interesting. I can do a left two handed shot against a wall But can’t get it in a game. I don’t know if the game is too fast or my footwork is off. Most if not all the recommendations say dominant hand along for the ride. Going to try what you said
I used to have the same problem. The biggest issue was my brain communicating with my hands in time to tell it to put two hands on the paddle. Doing a little more with my dominant hand has helped a lot. Also, nothing beats time on court!
I have a collegiate level tennis background and always had a 1 hand BH. Now switching to 2 hand BH for pickleball. I find myself letting go with my non dominant hand at times.
Austin put out a video a few days ago talking about griping the paddle tighter with the dominant hand. I tired that over the weekend and I noticed a dramatic improvement in my two hander consistency both up at the net on volleys and on drives. Can’t wait to try the horizontal paddle head position on the dink. Awesome info guys!

No collegiate tennis background for me but it’s also taking me a long time to get used to 2 hands
The part about the dominant hand makes perfect sense! I’m going to try it! Thank you 🙏
