Richard is a beautiful man for sure. One of my favorites on the Outlander series. I can hardly understand what he is saying, that thick accent, but I am sure it's great also.
Very charming fellow! I like the way he speaks with that accent..I really like him a lot...He proved to be quite a good actor too...A bonus to the series.

I find Jamie a lot more attractive than Roger, but I find Richard Rankin more attractive than Sam.

Sam is a lot more inside his own head it seems. Always having a side bar conversation with himself. Trying to say and do what’s right or expected…kind of insecure or having anxiety…or just distracted…or trying to be secretive and not wanting to appear so… not sure what ..but comes off as more guarded. Seems to have to work to be comfortable in interviews…the only way we see him. And he interviews better with men. Richard just comes off as more relaxed, not as self conscious and has an easier time just talking freely. Richard just seems more outgoing. I wonder what they are like when you actually know them. We are only seeing one construct. Interesting though.

@bobnunyabiznz4917 I can only imagine. I mostly feel horrible for him. I was not judging. This is just an observation from someone trained in analyzing communicative interactions for a living. Might just be because he's afraid of getting accosted! I also plain out wrote that this is just one situation, microcosm, we are looking at, and he may be totally different in his real life!! Chill. Lol
