Hi Harry, Cebu has also it's own language that people uses everyday for their communication, it's called Visayan or Bisaya language aside from Tagalog as Philippine Language.

Another foreigner channel years ago, "the hey joe show" also became the 1st internet sensation in the Philippines.
Guys, try to replicate thier successes.
Yeah..one them is "the hungry syrian wanderer" whose now very succesful. He has a million subscribers now and have a business in las piñas..not to mention also Wil Dasovich a very well-known vlogger who is half american and half filipino..

I recommend you visit the city's historical places, the up town, IT park a lot of food there to choose from, the TOPS, and most of all in the countryside(north and south) WHITE SAND beaches, waterfalls, and many adventures are waiting ie swimming w/whalesharks, canyoneering. diving etc. keep safe 😍😃

Hello Harry, finally you guys are now in Cebu the city where I originally came from. Enjoy your stay in Cebu. The hotel location that you are staying is not that good but accessible to lot of historical places. If you want to stay in a more comfortable and descent location try to check somewhere uptown area. Keep safe

Try and stay in a beach resort hotel when in Cebu- there’s a lot of beach resorts near Mactan international airport. If you stay in the city… be ready for a rough stay 😊 Cebu is a rough and tough city unlike BGC or Makati in Manila. You need to try our pork chicharon and lechon of CarCar Cebu. Try and go to the Tops (top of Cebu) or Osmena peak mountain

Try to have breakfast or burnch at abaca baking co., they have a lot outlets around the city, although the one with a more complete menu would be in ayala center cebu, baseline and crossroads. Try to have a meal in tingow, in waterfront hotel in lahug, its kinda pricey but so far the one of the best chinese food in cebu. Enjoy your stay.
One central hotel is located in the downtown area, its not the safest part of the city. There are better areas to stay though.
Have a good time in Cebu. If you're ever in the markets, see if you can find 'calamay sa bao' -- it's a sticky dessert inside a sealed coconut shell and unique to the Visayas. Of course, Lechon is a must. And if you're walking the streets, be sure to visit Magellan's Cross and the Basilica of the Sto Niño where the 500 year old statue of the child Christ is enshrined.

Hi, Harry. Transportation tip: Always better to use Grab taxi or Grab car instead of taxis here in the Philippines. For your lechon content, you might want to try Cebu's famous Rico's lechon. Enjoy your stay in the Visayas region! :)
If you want to try Lechon there at Cebu, I recommend the restaurant called, House of Lechon 😊

Watched most of your vlogs(if not all) since you came. Cebu is one of the most historical cities. Aside from lechon you can try carcar chicharon as well and Bantayan Island for more adventure. By the way, a lot of hotels offer free airport transfers. Might spare you from the hassle next time. Stay safe.

While in Metro Cebu visit the Sugbo Mercado in IT park for street food, Temple of Leah, Ayala mall for shopping and dining, Magellan cross for history, Sto Nino church the oldest church in the Philippines, Tops of Cebu and try a day use of any luxurious resorts in Mactan island where you can do island hopping and parasailing. Cebu Ocean park the biggest in the Philippines.
South part of Cebu is for canyonnering in Kawasan falls, swimming with whale sharks in Oslob you can also do paragliding there, swimming with with millions of sardines and turtles in Moalboal.
Northern part of Cebu is for diving with thresher sharks in Malapascua island, white sand beaches and skydiving in Bantayan island , Cebu Safari and adventure park in Carmen town, and El Mar resorts the biggest in the Philippines.
You can try to stay at the mad monkey hostel where most western tourists stay. Cebu nightlife is wild

if ure in Eastern Visayas they speak Waray or Bisaya.
If ure in Zamboanga..mostly they speak spanish..we have thousands Dialect/languages

When going for a lechon try, always gun for spicy lechon. I guarantee you it's not really spicy. Not even medium. Spicy lechon has more flavor than the plain one.
