When nyx contacted me I nearly peed myself her energy was so intense! I’m glad she doesn’t wish for me to worship her (as it’s against my religion) and instead we’re able to have a spirit guide like relationship! I am glad you have a solid relationship with Nyx! To be honest, I don't worship any deities at all- I work with them to achieve my goals and hopefully give something they want in return for their aid. Many people don't seem to understand that you don't have to worship a deity in order to benefit from working with them. I'm glad this video helped you! And yeah, her energy can be very intense!

Giving your life service to her based on one dream? I’d say connect with her more, build a working relationship with her, do more research on her first rather than blindly stumbling into something that serious without knowing what you’re doing. The “my deities” title is kinda a broad term in this case, just the name of the series of deities I’ve worked with. I don’t have a patron god, though I have two matron goddesses- Nyx and Freyja :) those books really are amazing- I can’t wait until they make them into a tv show :)

I've wanted to work with deities since I've started my practice, but I'm not very sure how. Deities are very intimidating to me and I'm still at a beginner level but the goddess nyx is so interesting to me and I'd like to work with her. How can I start, and what are some things I need to learn to do in order to contact her?
In order to contact her, like with any other being, you need to know how to protect your space, how to be respectful and how to meditate well enough that you can focus on exactly what you want with her. Doing some research on her would be a good idea (though there isn’t much about her since she is a primordial deity, a good chunk of the info out there is in this video actually), having some offerings would be a good idea. She really likes jewellery being dedicated to her, and if you have any witchy tats she loves those as well. There is no need to be intimidated or afraid as long as you remain respectful and build up a bit of a relationship before asking her for anything big. Nyx is a wonderful goddess but she can be known to have a hot temper when irritated or insulted. Just don’t piss her off and you should be fine! I wish you luck and blessed be!

If you read my comment even a year later, or if anyone else passes through and reads this, Do you think she could be calling me? I have always loved the night, I'm pretty nocturnal regardless on how well I try to fix my sleep schedule, even though I hate research even if about something I'm really interested in I get excited to research her, the colors I always end up liking are purple silver and black (and yellow, but that's because of a whole story of its own), if I want to draw shapes then without putting in much thought I end up drawing a crescent, star, or both (before I even looked into Nyx, and emphasis on without much thought be because I just started drawing and mostly crescents and stars felt right to draw) Night is when I feel my best and most energized, and out of all the gods and goddesses she's the one I'm most drawn too. For example about my fascination with night, a lot of my characters are colored and/or named after the night (dark colors, and I look up names to do with the night to use) because I just always preferred the night as long as I can remember Do you think this could be a coincidence, or me just hoping she

While it’s always nice to get a second opinion to confirm what you think, it’s completely unnecessary because I think you already know the answer- you are just yet to take the next step.

Old Wing my advice is follow your intuition. Deity energy has a very specific power that you feel- it’s kinda hard to describe. But yeah follow your intuition, trust it. And tip- usually if it asks you to prove yourself in any way, it’s usually not a deity. Deities watch us before coming forward, they observe until they know they want to work with you and you’ll have no need to prove anything to them :)
Hi, I'm from Brazil. I am currently 22 years old, but I have known Nyx since I was 7 years old. Lately I've been "losing" my connection with her and I'm looking for help with her sons. It's been very difficult. I would like to know how she appears and represents herself to you or if she even does that, or her presence would be something like indirect and you had in your intuition that that sign is hers. I felt to come to ask you this and to know if you could help me.
I’ve had a connection with her for years too, and in that time I’ve found that she can present herself in many different ways, but she will stop trying if you don’t try. She enjoys offerings, but if you don’t keep up with them consistently, she tends to feel like you aren’t putting in the effort (which is why I dedicated non-physical offerings to her- every time I sing, she knows it’s an offering to her and I sing alll the time!) She has quite a motherly energy when she is at peace and connected to you so that could be a sign that she is around you. She is also a goddess of night, so night time is the best time to try and connect with her- and a desire to stay up later than normal could be a sign from her. But again, the ways she will get my attention could be wildly different from how she tries to get yours. I would say perhaps dedicate a piece of jewellery to her and wear it all the time to rekindle that connection, just make a consistent effort to connect with her. Even if it’s just talking aloud to her for a 5 minute catch up of your day. She appreciates effort. You can also use my “connect with your patron deity” guided meditation if you’re struggling- and just have a connection with her in mind rather than any deity who wants to step forward.
