For anyone wondering about the lore or the English translations, I'll do my best :D (disclaimer: I'm not a native Japanese speaker, just someone who's studied the language for a few years) Main character, Hiroto, is a ひきこもり (hikikomori), who are defined (by the internet, I guess) as severely reclusive kids or young adults. We see Hiroto staring at his school uniform hanging unused in his closet, and I assume by the memory of the crumpled paper (a test, probably?) that it's because he was doing poorly in school. 0:28 - someone left him food and a note. I don't think it was the girl in white, because all she put in the mailbox was the book package. The note talks about food, so I assume it's his guardian, or whoever he's living with. They picked up the package for him and left it with his food and the note. The note says something along the lines of: To Hiro, something (referring to the package) arrived. Not going to school is one thing (literal: school is good, but), but eat your breakfast. In parentheses: Lunch is in a tupper (an abbreviation of tupperware, or just a plastic container) in the fridge Then he's reading the manga. I'll do a literal translation of what the manga girl says. 1st page (right to left): What if you draw a manga? A world that you make is free. 2nd page: To increase the number of things you can draw, you have to go to lots of different places! 3rd page: If you don't talk to lots of people, you won't be able to create characters that are alive. 4th page: I like your hairstyle. Hiroto is inspired by the manga, starts living his life again. The social media message thread goes like this: こびと (Kobito): I'm a second year middle schooler who draws manga! I'm doing (or maybe it's 'let's do'?) a rough introduction to my followers! ヒロ (Hiro): I'm also a second year middle schooler who draws manga! If you'd like, let's be friends! こびと: Hiro, are you [something]? Why don't we chat? (I'm not exactly sure what タメだったんですか means. I looked it up, it might mean 'are you free', like 'do you have time right now'. He adds a little w after it, which is the equivalent of a laugh emoji) After the message thread, he's reading a book called 初心者のための漫画の描き方 (Shoshinsha no tame no manga no kakikata), which is basically a 'how to draw manga for beginners'. (Also, easter egg!! That black cat on the shelf looks exactly like the one from 魔法のない世界で生きるということ (mahou no nai sekai de ikiru to iu koto; to live in a world without magic), another euluca animation!!!) He looks up the manga that he read as a child, 空白描写 (kuuhakubyousha), and finds no results. HMMM. Gets a makeover, sees some stuff, visits lots of places just like the girl in the manga says. Goes to high school and meets こびと in person. Enters a manga contest. He's living his life, good for him :D pretty sure it's first place that he wins in the contest. Okay so here's where things get fun. 2:24 he's got these characters written on a page in katakana, which is one of the Japanese alphabets. The one on the top is his real name, サトウ ヒロト (Satou Hiroto; in Japanese, last names come first). In the post about his award winning manga, his name was shown to be 佐藤 大翔, which is read as Satou Hiroto. By writing his name in katakana, he can reorder the katakana, which are just phonetic syllables by themselves, to make a new name. If you've watched Sword Art Online, this is kind of what Kirito (real name Kirigaya Kazuto) does. Some of the combos that Hiroto comes up with are Uroto Hisato, Totohi Sarou, and the last one, Totou. The first two have kanji written next to them, kanji that could be read with those syllables (because most kanji have like six different ways to read them, which is part of why everyone says they make learning Japanese so difficult). Girl drops a pencil, he picks it up, realizes she looks EXACTLY like the girl in his manga. Cute. Then we see the manga on the shelves! And on the sign, it says: \Next number 1 manga to come!/ And then underneath that is the author's name, 都東 佐大. But that's not Hiroto's name, is it? Hiroto's real name is 佐藤 大翔, as we saw when he won the contest. However, if you can read the kanji, you can break it back down into the syllables: Totou Sahiro. It's Hiroto's pen name, and he used that syllable combo and those specific kanji to bring the loop full circle back to the name of the author who wrote that manga that inspired him when he was younger. And then you can also see that the girl in the manga is inspired by the girl who dropped her pencil; she's got her hair clip on the right and bangs that sweep to her left, etc. On the inside cover of the manga, under the snail, is a little blurb by Hiroto. I'll try to translate what's shown: From the time that I was a middle school first year, I've used a snail as a personal icon. [something something, not shown on screen] original reason was that I was a recluse and didn't go to school. [something something] but now it's because my pen is slow (???) THE END. I still have no clue who the girl in white is.
Or maybe it's Hope itself.. When we are in dark place we try to search for that beam of light... Her giving him the book is like giving him the idea that there are many things in life that he wants to enjoy.
I think it's like time travelling..the girl who posted the mail was someone related to this system or the protagonist's daughter ( i assume this cause at the last Clip when he was looking at the manga in the bookshelf there was a kid's drawing on the wall at the same time there was screen time of the girl of white hair)
Woah! *They release another wonderful mv animation!* Oh how I love their artstyle and the stories that are accompanied in this mv. I think the lessons that this shows us is that it is never too late to change for the better and leaving the past mistakes/sins behind with the right knowledge you've learned through that challenges is what makes your present life more meaningful and colorful. _(I hope that I somewhat manage to grasp some part of the life lessons that this mv provide to us 😣✨)_ *_Have a nice day to y'all_* 💖

Thanks so much for that long explanation 😊 hope you have a great day for that service to the community!
From my pov maybe she is their child or a character from his manga that he will create later on in his life.
Or maybe it's Hope itself.. When we are in dark place we try to search for that beam of light... Her giving him the book is like giving him the idea that there are many things in life that he wants to enjoy.

Thank you for this !! this is indeed so cute !
暗かった少年が目標を見つけて進んでいくっていうストーリーがまず好き…!
Qual o nome do anime?
The summer sadness hits hard with this one
