I don’t think this man ended up in the hospital because of the oxycodone, sounds like the iboga was bad. I did ibogaine in Costa Rica in 2014. I had a rough experience during the trip and after… i hate hallucinating and psychedelics in general,I had bad time on shrooms and on uppers in general. I suffered for like 12 hours,I was begging and almost fighting the staff to give me my pills back cause I was so sick. I wanted to fly out, they disconnected the phone and wouldn’t let me use it cause I was going crazy,I thought they took my passport but later I realized I misplaced it… I also got water thrown in my face lol I guess they wanted me to snap out of it cause I was ready to kill almost. After the water I finally laid down and reflected, the ibogaine was mild at that point and I finally felt some WD relief so I calmed down and laid in my bed for hours thinking about what I put the staff through. I came down to apologize and I saw they were smoking weed,I asked and they said no problem. I took a hit of a bowl and I felt even more relief… marijuana can be your friend during a detox but in moderation. I smoked that bowl and went back to my room, put my headphones in and just vibed out to my music. Later on that night it started to wear off and I started to feel WD symptoms but it wasn’t awful,I had headache,I was throwing up bile and liquids (you have to stay hydrated) every so often,I didn’t get any sleep until like the 4th day. I started to get 2-3 hours on the 4th day and slowly increased my sleep time as the days went by and I slowly started to feel better, had my first meal on like day 5 but I puked it later. They got me a masseuse, that mellowed the shit out of me but I was very lethargic… everything felt slow motion to me,i couldn’t take long steps and I’m a big guy too. Day 7 I finally flew home sober but still lethargic and still barely an appetite, occasional nausea, severe headaches and migraines, shitty short sleep, resltless leg syndrome that drove me nuts… the post acute withdrawal symptoms are not fun. People think it’s a wonder drug you take one time and you good but it’s far from that. Some may handle it better then others,it might also depend on your drug of choice and the amount you took and the duration of your addiction. At that time I was on prescription oxycodone 30s up to 10-20 a day at a time. When I got to the “clinic” they put me on low dose of morphine twice a day to wean me off for the first few days and I was miserable,I was in mild withdrawal everyday waiting for them to just give me the ibogaine cause I thought it was a wonder drug,in 2014 UA-cam had videos of people talking about and I was subscribed to a news letter. I see things have changed,a lot more people are doing this and doing it unsafe. I had to do an ekg and blood work before I went. It was a house but there was a trauma nurse there that was an ex herion user for many years… she may have lied about her credentials but over the time I been there I asked to many questions and she seemed to be who she said she was or she was just a great liar. It was run by that woman and a man. There was another house in the village run by jacked up dudes and a lot more patients… I was luckily the only in this house when I got there, just me and the 2 staff but later a young women came and she was there for self harming… smart beautiful black woman but she cut herself. The people that do ibogaine that aren’t addicted to drugs have a different experience. Us addicts sometimes see evil shit for some reason. I didn’t have to much visions but the some that I had wasn’t pleasant. I also didn’t take the full dose,it was big capsules and I was puking and shitting an hour or two into the “ceremony”. I honestly could of skipped the whole “shamon like ceremony”. The music annoyed the fuck out of me. The candles and burning essence made me sick. Again,I did not have a pleasant experience the first 12 hours cause I was withdrawing and tripping hard. When the serious withdrawal symptoms subsided and the tripping became mild I enjoyed it plus the weed was awesome to add on. They gave me a booster pill on day 3 I believe and I enjoyed it. I think you can microdose your way through the withdrawal, you don’t need a huge dose unless you want to see shit but it’s life risking. Luckily they had a defibrillator and the fact the woman was a ex trauma nurse I felt I was ok cause my ekg and blood work was fine. I did think I was gonna die there at some point cause I remember seeing a UA-cam video I believe it was vice about ibogaine providers and they showed a patient having a bad experience,he was rushed to a hospital.
Sorry for the long post,I hope this helps someone. Find a good place but don’t spent crazy money that some of these assholes are asking for. You go to another country for a reason,if you die they think they will be safe in a third world country instead of doing it in USA. I remember they had a few places in Canada. The people that run it from home don’t go. If you get sick and throw up they get pissed. I heard horror stories of patients being thrown out in middle of being sick. Do your homework and don’t over spend!

Yeah, you just need an empty gut, a week on heroin vs methadone or oxygen 1 week before, water, a dark room, silence, double bed and to be left alone!! You only need a buddy to check you very occasionally. None of this shamans shaking rattles at you or keeping the lights on in wards. Fuck that.
Best to source online and do plenty research. I was weak as a kitten months afterwards but that's the body repairing itself. The ibo rewrites your brain, I had none of the usual symptoms at all afterwards. Just unbalanced and tripped out, diazepam helped with anxiety and friends being there for support is important.
Its best to just embrace the experience, have short term benzos or beta blockers after for the anxiety.

Yea that sounds rough man. I believe to this day the best thing to do is transfer on Suboxone. I took between 8 and 14 blues a day for 8-9 year's. I got on Suboxone not thru a doctor bc they will keep you on it and it's no life to live. I bought some strips, tapered all way down to where 1 strip lasted 14 days . Never missed a day at work . Jan 15 , 2015 I never took it again. I took a week off work, stayed in bed, never puked but definitely had muscle pain, no sleep etc but a month later I was back in the gym and looking incredible by March with no issues. Back to be good in bed again, back to lifting heavy and not getting tired at work. Not falling sleep at the wheel etc. It's a tough thing to battle but it's mind over madder.

These fucking doctors found a new opiate to peddle by putting people on long term suboxone, you are just replacing one addiction for another and with subuxone it’s even worse if you use long term because of its long life so the detox off it is horrific for somebody that used long term.

Armon tells great stories. I believe that hallucinogens like this or datura are literally a portal to see into the unknown. It sounds like he still had normal withdrawals. 3 years ago I stopped taking 300mg to 360mg of oxycodone daily, cold turkey. Once the withdrawals started I don’t remember anything except being in the er 3 days later because I hadn’t moved from my bed!
I expected 3-4 days of withdrawals and then normal again but it was terrible. I went back home from the er and rarely left the bed for the next three weeks.
I tried to stay completely off but 7 months later I still felt bad most days. So I contacted an online suboxone clinic and have been on that since July 2020.
I would rather be completely clean but I am afraid to go through what I went through again. I have gone from 4 Suboxone to 2 a day so I have made a small improvement but still not close to where I want to be.

The only reason I didn't exit the vid is because I wanted to hear him finish his dam story. By the way 45 milligrams of oxy should not make anyone overdose. Especially someone his size and with his prior opiate addiction even with his ibogane experience. I was clean for years and did dope and I got sick but didn't overdose something else contributed to him having that serious of a reaction to 45 mgs of oxy.

I cannot imagine taking 40 mg. I think the most I’ve ever taken was 15 to 20 mg because of a spine injury and I was so numb. And he said he used to take 30 pills per day, Crazy!

You wouldnt believe how much some people can take. Crushing up 180mg oxy and snorting them! Then go to work and by the end of the shift, dying for another one. Thats how the heroine gets in the mix because its cheaper. Sad to watch
