Having been keeping fish for getting on for 40 years your beneficial bacteria can go a while without constant flow, it’s actually worse if the media is submerged rather than being out of the water, so you may have lost some over 24 hours it wouldn’t cause a crash in the cycle. That said, no harm in adding to the pond, I’ve been using Bacto plus in my pond recently, still early days as to whether it’s made a dramatic difference but it certainly won’t hurt. I don’t think Lees £5 will go far when you get to Japan but it’s a nice gesture regardless 😁
He is just being a genuine friend you helped him get some work in so as a thoughtfull guy he decided to make your dreams come true and help you get over to japan I respect that top bloke!
@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123 it shows how thoughtfull he is as a friend he took the time to really understand what would make you happy and did his best to make that happen for you and the faces you shall be pulling in japan when you see those beasts in person will be will make it even the more better

Hi James Just a quick one I've built a pond this year its just about finished I've got some fish in a big container I got gifted, I'm just wondering is it too late to start the pond now or do you think it will be OK? Many thanks Ricky.
@@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123 getting it started its built and ready to go just wasnt sure if it was too late in the year with it starting to get colder ive got half a dozen goldfish in a big container i got gifted and i dont want to leave them in there over winter, will the filter still build up the bacteria with the fish slowing down if you know what i mean.

Woke up Sunday morning pond pump packed up, no water pumping to my filters, waders on , had spare pump in the shed changed over , thank god for having spares in stock

Hi James great video. Don't you think it would be better to put both pumps through the burtons control panel cause when it goes into fail safe it shuts the two pumps down after so many cycles, I think what has happened to your heater pump it keeps pulling the water through it's blocked your screen and run your bio side dry.
@@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123it's on the cards for next year hopefully! Had one of the £80 hi utsuri and a few of the little guys from Dave a couple of weeks ago, such a nice a nice guy and my girls love going too, he always finds a stall for them to see the fish. I wouldn't shop elsewhere now
Hi mate i bought some of that lacto bacteria on you saying how good it is and have a brilliant time in Japan what i have seen on lee Hadfield channel you will really enjoy it
You will love Japan mate but maybe not Tokyo but then again you may because it's a mad place full with so many people,and my word of advice to you get your yen in the UK before you go because you get a better exchange rate than in Japan,but i got confused with the money in Japan because 500 yen is only about £2:60 👍

You'd be surprised how cheap the fish can be over there but yes you will need some more notes but I'm sure you will be bringing back some fish for the main pond 😊

Mate I’ve a 1000 gallon pond and if I wanted to add this LACTO BACTERIA to it would I have to add the full recommended dosage??
Yea you don’t have to though and as fare as I am aware you can’t over dose it you could possibly send ukks a email more more information?
