Hey was really nice to see you and your wife at the food bit I ended up coming home with 40 fish I think I should make videos of them and share them with you as I came more into this hobby because of you my dads been in this hobby for 35 years but I just started last year but more into it this year

Do you ever get heron visits? I’ve spotted one near my pond a few times I’ve got a few small koi in a 2500 litre pond with a net on so not worried about the heron getting to them but they are very skittish every time I go near the pond so I’m gathering it is the heron scaring them

I’ve got a 3 pod filter from Finch Filtration for purifying water to wash my car. TDS must be near zero as it doesn’t leave water spots.

To anyone considering getting a top up tank/system, I would strongly recommend it, especially if you have a drum filter, which "pinches" water from your pond several times a day to clean itself. This stops the need to then keep topping up your pond every few days. I also "pinch" water from my blade to water my pot plants, every now and then, knowing that the top up tank will refill the pond and contribute to my 10% water changes. Just a view.
