Clayface's for example the whole thing sounds Shakespearian in nature, then tragic, then a mixture of both. Exactly what one would expect to hear of an actor who underwent a horrible transformation like Hagen. Mr. Freeze's was cold, and at some points hopeless. Joker's was fun, but you knew something big was around the corner when it started playing. The list goes on.

Imagine listening to the playlist of every villain themes from TAS without having watched the series, and only knowing Clayface as that one Batman villain that's made of clay, can shapeshift, and used to be an actor or whatever. Then hearing this theme. He only had 4 episodes with him as the focus (let's not count his cameo in Holiday Knights), but all of them were absolute peak TAS, especially part 2 of Feat of Clay, and... his final episode which I don't want to spoil.

Mr Freeze, truly tragic as it is, for some bizarre reason pales in comparison to Clay Face. Mr Freeze deep down knew his beloved Nora could never be saved because of the fact that he was stealing funds to keep her alive until technology was advanced enough to save her, a feat he knew was desperate in and of itself, but THIS. This is heart wrenching to its core. To be rendered absolutely obsolete, to be despised, and to have absolutely no one to love you, not even your own self, is truly a tragedy that has no comparison. His sadness is almost unbearable to behold because sadly, it relates so much to real life and that it is scary.
One of the saddest things is that his stunt double probably the only other person who cared about him apart from Batman, but due to his state of mind, hopelessness and depression, the only thing he could do was to push him away. Because of the prison of his circumstances, he in turn made himself prisoner of his own mind.
Am I the only one who wants Clayface to be part of Matt Reeves trilogy? Not a main villain, but still part of the series. Bring back Ron Perlman to do the voice.

I personally prefer this Clayface over Harley Quinn TAS Clayface, the Clayface in that is funny, but I don’t think it fits his character, Batman TAS Clayface is more tragic and more sympathetic in a way that makes you feel for the character
The score is beautiful, especially when Batman turned on the screens to Matt Hagan's career perfectly juxtaposed to what he is now as Clayface. Hagan was a man who was able to portray a wide variety of characters simply through his talents and passion, but as Clayface, he can practically turn himself into anything he wants whenever he wants. In becoming Clayface, he lost what Matt Hagan had that made him special.
All of Batman villains Clayface was the only one i felt sorry for while being scared of at the same. Even Joker as chaotic there was always a sense of fun when he had to face off against Batman. But Clayface always seemed angry and resentful as if Batman was only in his way.
While some often connect this theme to Matt Hagen or even Karlo himself, part of me often hears this theme connected to the rather tragic Preston Payne incarnation.
1:56-2:24 one of the best scenes in the whole series and one of the best soundtracks. This moment made Clayface one of my favorites. Gives me chills everytime.
